We are packing lots of books. :cool1:

It's our week away from electronics which is a real vacation for me. Only the cameras for us.

Yep, packing a bunch of those too. Those would be for me. The electronics are for keeping Erin occupied on the plane rides, more than anything.

MINE is the Panasonic 9"...with the swivel screen and all that....but this new one is for the kids...wasn't spending that much. Ended up with one made by Polaroid (never seen that before) and came with wireless headphones that Jared loves. It still was a lot of $$. On sale, I think it was $149.00. Was hoping for something half that price.

Don't let Bruce see that Panasonic. That's the one he wanted but I wouldn't let him spend that much $. If only he still worked for them ... we got some sweet deals on electronics. We bought a Polaroid but it's not wireless.

Off to watch 24 now.

Ah... a geek after my own heart! We have the Archos AV700, and it's great for recording stuff off the Tivo. But we've actually been using the PSP for movies (Jim figured out how to do that one) and music. It's great - like a 4" plasma in the palm of your hand!

Sounds like our group will have no shortage of entertainment options should things get dull on the ship!

I like using the PSP for this too.... I have a couple of 2 gig cards - and can put 4 movies on each.....

I was having Jared run around yesterday, while I tested the sports setting on mine. Very good results. We expect great pictures of Alicia now!

Is that the setting that takes rapid fire pictures? If so I did that once when KT was diving. Pretty cool!!!

Ooookaaay, like how you would like an open ended line of credit to do as much traveling as you can stand????

Would I have to pay that back?? :confused3 :confused3
I guess it could have been worse, it could have said "For Services Rendered" :lmao:

Nope...this one sets the focus on one object, and follows it as it moves, taking a picture without blur.
It's pretty cool watching the little square go "blip, blip, blip" across the screen.

That's the only team that didn't put the kids names on the back.

There's a boy on Jared's team from South Africa (I love his Dad's accent!) and his name is Suanu Deeyor.

My nephews were on a ball team for a couple of years. Blazened across the front of their young, pre-pubescent chests in big letters was the name of their sponsor "WEDDINGTON GYNECOLOGY"

I'm sorry, but there are just SOME things you don't make an 8 yr old boy do!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

U TOP shared with Stacey and my dear, sweet, impressionable nephews!

I'm pretty sure ours does that too.....if you use it right. :)

I really havn't used it much as a dvr.. yet. Bought it simply because I was impressed with the picture quality of the screen, and wanted something to be able to display pictures like regular prints to others. It's turned out to be so much more since, I've been quite impressed with its flexibility.

MickeyMo'sBo.....that's very cool what you do for the kid's teams!

Wish we had someone who did that............

Our dog has been barking a lot at night, too...but I think it's because of the full moon. He can see things moving out there!
I know!! I tend to bark when there's a full moon too!!!

Quick, someone do their Bill Murray impersonation.........

I want you to move here, and teach me how to play with cool toys.........
Or maybe you could teach Jay. I get tired of being the techno-geek. I won't have to do it for much longer, Jared is very quickly passing me.

Ya know...Diana told us that a long time ago, but I didn't want to believe her..:rolleyes1

Jared's outside playing with the other new toy he got today....a pair of binoculars. That was the gift I chose after playing in the tournament at the Bellagio. Could have gotten a Coach bag, a nice watch, a cappucino machine....but nooooo....I let my son choose something.

Almost show time....going to go stake out my spot on the couch while the boys are outside! :car:
