It is so sad to be home after spending 5 magical days at WDW. We stayed at Pop Century and the staff was so wonderful to us. I had put in a late request to stay in either the 60's or 70's building but it was already filled up. They tried to re arrange rooms to get us into one of the buildings but after a little bit of them scurring around I told them it was not a big deal and they put us in a great room in the 80's building with a view of the computer pool. The room and hotel were very clean. My DD5 loved all of the oversized decor and overall disney theme. The transportation system was great. We never had to wait long (except one night after Magic Kingdom it felt like we were waiting for the bus FOREVER). The one thing is that they pack the buses with people and 1/3 of the people end up standing and holding on to the rails. If you have ever been one of these people you know it is not the most relaxing ride back to your hotel but nothing I would really complain about and that would not keep me from staying at the hotel again. I can say that the people staying at Pop were very curtious. If someone got on with a young child you could almost count on someone getting up to let the child sit down. Even a couple teenagers got up so my DD5 could sit down on one of the rides back to the hotel.
Day 1 (review for 1900 Park Fare)
Plane lands at 6pm. We get to the hotel at 7:20pm. Checked in at 7:40pm, changed my DD5 into her Cinderella dress and made it to our dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare at 8:30pm (we had a cab take us so we would not have to mess with transfering and possibly missing our ressi.
1900 Park Fare was WONDERFUL!!! You walk in to the Lobby and there is the Fairy God Mother who took so much time with each child, without holding up the line, she was great. Cinderella and Prince Charming were so good with the kids. Prince Charming even gave my DD5 a kiss and she was just in heaven.
The mice seemed like they were a little rushed but no real complaints. The food was great a buffet of prime rib, turkey, cheddar potatoes, vegtables (I can't remember what else was on the buffet) and then a full dessert bar.

Day 2 (Reviews for Crystal Palce & RFC at DTD)
After a very, very late night we had ressi's at 8:05am at the Crystal Palace. Man everyone was right about this place. It is AWESOME!! The food, the service and the characters ALL was AWESOME!! The food was always the right temp. The only complaint was the waffles and pancakes, they were a little on the hard side but if you waited for a fresh batch they were good. My DD5 loved the imprints of the characters on the Waffles. Even though they were a little hard they were still a huge hit with her. 100% recommend this breakfast.

After breakfast which lasted about an hour and a 1/2 we spend the morning at Magic Kingdom until my DD5 got really cranky so we just decided to make that day a rest day since we had a late night. We went swimming at the pool, relaxed and then went to DTD. Not a very exciting place and I love to shop. It just seems like all of the stores are the same.
We ate at Rain Forest Cafe and DD LOVED the theme. We do not have one in Iowa so it was something new to her. The food was also very good. My DH had a pasta dish (can't remember which one) I got the turkey wrap and my DD5 got Mac & Cheese. Then for dessert we split the Volcano. It was soooooo good...
Day 3 (Reviews for 50's Prime Time Cafe & Princess Storybook- Norway)
Went to MGM Studios had lunch at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Our waiter was Tony and I was not really thrilled with our Waiter or food. It was okay but I don't think we would go here again. I had the chicken sandwich my DH had a sandwich and I can't remember what my DD5 had. Maybe it was just a bad day. We stayed until late afternoon, went back to the hotel to rest and change my DD5 back in to her Cinderella dress again- we had planned a surprise dinner for her at Norway in Epcot- Storybook Princess dinner. Before we left I called the front desk to ask if they could add a 1 day base pass to each of our cards for the next day (Since we left Magic Kingdom early the day before). She said she would and would just charge it to our Credit Card on file. We got to Epcot and were denied getting into the park (Now follow me on this one....we had originally purchased a 2-day park hopper and were on our 2nd day at the parks. There should not be a problem getting into Epcot). The CM's were very nice. They called and told us our cards showed that we each only had a 1 day base pass and it had already been used the day before HUH???? How could that be when we were at MGM just that morning?? So I had to go to guest services (our dinner ressi's are in 30 mins also).. Finally I get to talk to someone at guest services, she calls the hotel, I talk to the hotel and he was very nice. I informed him that our ressi's were in 20 mins and it was a surprise princess dinner for my DD5. He said he was unsure what happened but he would clear it up for us. We got in to the park with 20 mins to get from the front entrance to Norway... Now for anyone who has been there it is a pretty long walk. We just made it in time with my DH carrying our DD5 the entire way. We were seated in less than 2 mins. We walk in and she gets her picture taken with Ariel- she is so excited that she saw Ariel.. We get seated right next to the door where the princesses come out of so when Sleeping Beauty came out I thought she was going to fall out of her chair. Then came Belle, Jasmine and finally Mulan. I have never seen her eyes light up the way they did that night. The fireworks after dinner (dinner was at 7:50pm) were spectacular and should be seen at least once when you are there. That was the most magical night of our trip. As we were walking back to the bus my DD5 grabbed my hand and brought me down to her, gave me a hug and said "you did good mom" that was such a special moment.
Okay on to the food because I did not know what to expect.. Our waitress was wonderful. We told her we had no idea what to order and she explained everything to us and also told us we could substitue.. so I ordered the poached cod with cheddar mashed potatoes instead of horseradish potatoes. My DH ordered the Pasta with marina sauce instead of the Pesto sauce (very picky eater) and DD5 ordered Pizza which she barly touched because she was just so excited. We started out with the appitizer buffet which was not that great. It did have salad, cheeses, lunch meat, cold fish, and bread I know it was a Norway dinner but I was hoping the buffet would be a little bit on the traditional American side. The food was okay but I would do this dinner again for the Character experience especially if you have children who love princesses.

Day 4 (Reviews for Chef Mickey's & Cosmic Ray's)
We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's. We had to wait 20 mins to be seated but outside of that the breakfast was wonderful. The characters were Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale. The food was good and the characters were awesome. The characters were very organized and made time for each child. My only complaint was the family sitting behind us. Our table was the first table the characters came to when they came up the stairs in the back and it never failed as soon as the characters came up the stairs and started intracting with my DD5 the 2 little girls ran over and tried to take their attention away from my DD5. The characters handled it very well and did not loose focus on my DD5. My big complaint is that their parents just stood by and let it happen. I don't blame the kids I blame the parents. Over all we had a very good time and would definately book this breakfast again!!

We spent the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom. Ate at Cosmic Rays- I had a cheeseburger/Fries/Sugar free browine. Everything was very good except for the browine. I will opt for the triple chocolate cake next time. My DH had the same as me except he had the triple chocolate cake and loved it. My DD5 had chicken nuggest and fries. She didn't eat much but she said it was good. We did not eat dinner until we got back to the hotel that night and the food at POP was very good. The dining area was very clean. We all enjoyed eating there.
Day 5
We spent this day swimming before our late checkout at noon. Our luggage was taken away at 10:30am while we were in the pool so we did not have to be there for that. I left our clothes out that we would travel in that day and a big zip lock bag to put our swim suits in after we were done.
We had purchased a noodle for the pool for our DD5. We did not want to take it with us so we gave it to another little girl. Before we did that I wrote my DD5's name and May 06' on it with a perminate marker. So did the little girl that we gave it to. Her mom said she will pass the bright pink noodle on and ask that the next child write their name and date they were at POP. I am hoping the noodle keeps getting passed on and more names are added. So it you are at POP Century go to the Computer pool and see if there is a bright pink noodle with names on it... Keep the noodle going!!!
Thanks for listening
