Hey guys - just saw that the shuttle launch was delayed from today to Sunday... their mission is 14 days which puts their return landing on Sunday May 15th at Kennedy Space Center... if everything is pushed forward by 2 days. Not sure if the myriad of calculations required to figure everything out will change that 14 day mission to something else, but if they take off on schedule on Sunday and keep to the original plan, then they're landing just as we're all headed toward the port. Ugly ugly ugly....
FE list is all updated with all participants accounted for. We are now at 29 cabins. I've updated cabin listings with as much info as I could locate in the threads and PMs and emails to me. I know some still don't have kids names and some with more than 1 cabin, I can't tell who is in which one.... but this will give you something to go on.
So I have been working for months to get my almost 3 year old potty trained before the cruise because I know he will hate the nursery plus him and his sister are super close and the fact that they will have to go to separate areas will not be good. However will two weeks to go he still doesn't use the potty regularly. I just don't know what to do, in undies he does pretty good at home. I feel like if I "chanced" it and put him in the club in undies he would get to busy and forget to go to the potty. I know his sister has gotten where she reminds him on regular basis, but my four year old can't be responsible for him. I have his time booked in the nursery, I am just sad for him and his sister.
My DH said he would just take him dancing at the clubs with him, which is funny on so many levels bc first under 18 isn't allowed and second we don't go dancing and haven't since we were first dating as teenagers. Yet for some reason he keeps talking like he is going to "bust a move." I just laugh. Of course he also was practicing is run to Tower of Terror last night, which is is all time favorite ride. I think he is finally getting excited.
Two weeks to go!

Or so I thought.....I forgot to make one of the family gifts for myself
When will we decide on a Dis meet? I can't wait to put some faces with names!
How does everyone feel about a quick meet and greet on embarkation day? I made a thread on the main forums asking about good places for a group to meet - someone suggested Deck 13 forward - it is 2 decks above the adult pool - there is a bar with plenty of seating, kids are allowed and there is a non-smoking and smoking areas.
I was thinking a quick meet right after the muster drill (4:30ish) - since we are no longer required to have our life vests at the drill, there is no need to go running back to the staterooms - a quick trip up to deck 13 to say hello, and then folks can be on their way to get ready for early seatings.
It doesn't have to be a long meet - just a way for those that care to, to meet others in the group, and for kids of a similar age group to meet each other prior to hitting the kids clubs!!
Does that sound do-able for anyone?
