5/15/2011 - Disney Dream 4nt Bahamas - May 15, 2011

There's STILL a Remy reservation available for a party of two for May 16th!! I'd love to see one of my fellow DISers get it!! :goodvibes There's also a newly-opened Palo ressie for 8:00 on embarkion day! Still waiting for Palo brunch....but I'm thinking my Pixie Dust has worn out! :goodvibes

They open up more ressies for brunch on board the day of embarkion though:)

The four nighter before us started receiving their cruise docs last week, so we should be getting ours soon! :cool1:

Well..you guys should anyway. I've managed to rope the most apathetic TA in the "disney specialist" universe, so I might see mine sometime around the 4th of July (I'm not bitter... ;))

We received Docs for our 3 night May 12 Dream Cruise on Saturday (we're doing B2B ) so the May 15 Cruise Docs should be delivered real soon :banana:

Hey everyone - I've gotten a few messages regarding updates for the FE and just wanted to let you know that I'm going to wait until the deadline this Friday before I finalize everything... that way you aren't checking back to find things have changed again and again.

If you have anything to change - add - drop out - etc.... please do so by Friday. I'll send out an email reminder this week as well.

Counting it down!!

On a personal note... having a lot of challenges in planning this week, lol. Took a look at our flight itinerary and never really realized that we have a CLOSE connection in Denver on our flight over. It's 35 minutes both coming and going, actually.

Given that, and having heard horror stories about connecting in Denver, but having faith that Southwest knows how to keep their flights on schedule, and it's not a particularly bad weather time of year to be traveling.... we are planning to each travel with just one rolling suitcase plus a backpack for smaller stuff. That way, if we have to run for it, we won't have our baggage not make it with us. I bought Early Bird check in so we can be assured of a seat close to the front of the plane so we can jump off.

We are going for 10 days so it should be interesting trying to pack everything into 4 carry-on allowed size suitcases. I think we'll ship a box to the port with our FE stuff and dress clothes and shoes and majority of our toiletries. That should help lighten the load a bit.

I know it's going to be here before we know it and I"m a bit crazed thinking about it!

Good Luck...the best thing about Southwest is they general will hold a plane if they know you are landing and might be just a few minutes late. I think I remember most of the Southwest flights being relatively close together. You will make it, I just know it. :thumbsup2

pixiedust: Sending Pixie Dust your way pixiedust:

It's all going to be fine!!!

It's time for me to start digging through the closets to find the swimsuits and summer gear!!!

Oh my! It's getting SO close now!! I'm still waiting on my ebay FE. I guess I'm still number 20 in line! :sad1: She thinks it'll ship by NEXT week though. Cutting it close now!
Still have to get all of my FE gifts bagged up.
Also need to get my ring bearer pillows made and a mickey pomander. Wish me luck! :bride:

Ok, I know there are packing list everywhere, but does anyone have one in excel that i could have, also any packing tips for someone that is cruising and then going to the parks. I have my "Dream Box" started, but at the moment it doesn't have much in it, beside some clothes that i have purchased for my children who are growing like little weeds. Don't they know Momma is trying to outfit them for vacation.

I downloaded this excel spreadsheet from a lady's site: "Packing Lists and Cruise Tips." (link below)
It's alphabetical and seems pretty darn complete! Gave me lots of ideas of things that I totally forgot about OR that I never would've even considered, since this is our 1st cruise in 10 yrs!! :lovestruc

I called DCL yesterday to see if they had the list of movies playing yet. The agent said they don't get a list for the Dream (weird??) but she gave me the list currently playing on the Wonder and thinks it will be similar for the Dream:

Alice in Wonderland
Prince of Persia
Tron Legacy 3D
Tangled 3D
Gnomeo & Juliet
Mars Needs Moms
You Again
Secretariat
African Cats - premiering April 22nd
Prom - premiering April 29th

This is great because my kids missed Mars Needs Moms... and my daughter will be bugging to see Prom, so we can just wait till the ship!

Our AAA TA emailed us yesterday and said our documents arrived. Can't wait, DW and I are doing the 30 day dance.
