4X4 rolodex~POSTAL!!!!

Rebecca, I have one. We're also going to Disney this weekend (Julia's 4th birthday) but we can try to get together next week sometime, or whenever you're ready to punch.

We probably went to the same staples (on University?) where the guy gave me the 1/2 hour story about how that Staples used to carry rolodex but when Dell computers came in they had to get rid of them and something else...and the story went on and on and on.

Yes, I wasn't willing to listen that long though. It would definately be easier to borrow from you - since i can just drive.

Well, the good thing is I now have all my paper pulled and ready to be cut. :thumbsup2

Here is what I am planning to do for October.. I don't know if the "october" is on the correct side on this one but it will be for the ones I send it. I did this really fast at work this morning. So it is seriously a ROUGH draft.. Any thoughts on any changes or am I on the right path to what these are supposed to look like..

What would it look like if you took Oogie Boogie and pop dotted him over the staple on the ribbon?

PS- I LOVE IT!!!!

It's darling, Kat! I LOVE the tab with the cute Jack head!

My only thought is that someone might have trouble rounding the corners on it because of the border. I know some in the Disney group have already sent theirs rounded so others might want to do them all so that it is uniform for gift giving. You totally don't have to pay any attention to this. It was just what I noticed.

Other than, it is super cute!

Dang. That is going to cause me to rethink two of my groups. I was going to do the border type thing like Kat. The pretty paper isn't firm enough by itself, so I was going to mount it to textured cardstock. Maybe I'll just use cheap card stock and completely cover it.

Kat-I love it. That is one of my DH's favorite movies.

I will need to keep that in mind regarding borders when I do these too. I need to bring these home and work on them soon. I normally work on these at my moms but since one is for her I need to do them here. I have my ideas just need a few sheets of paper which I will pick up tomorrow.

Honestly, y'all might not want to worry about it at all. I might be the only one that will stress if I am giving these as a gift and the corners don't all match.

I just know that I with my OCD self won't be able to use these as a gift if I can't make them look like they belong together. Y'all are normal and not bothered by this type of insanity. :goodvibes

It doesn't matter to me and I figure that between all my grops I can probably make enough sets that match by mixing and matching the sets I have so I may have 1 with rounded corners and 2 without or something like that. I mean they don't have to stay in the set (other than Disney maybe)

The punch is on it's way to PN96 today. I apologize for the delay, I'm a little stressed out and I've got a cold. Sad excuses, but life is hectic lately...

Oh, and I will freely admit to being completely and totally anal retentive and OCD about them all having rounded corners or not, so no, you are not alone, TPCShauna ;)

Holly, did you check out the stamps at Jo-ann's? I'm headed in your direction tomorrow morning to make a fairy costume for Miss Morgan at Ryco. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll have time to stop and shop at Mike's and Jo's tomorrow, but we are definitely getting lunch at Panera before we head to dance. :cool1: I love Panera.

i did not get a chance to get over there yet jennifer. and it looks like i won't have a chance this weekend either. we have a wedding tomorrow and an antique truck show on sunday.
BUT, it's on my list!

oh have fun at ryco! wave to us as you pass by!!!!
