Hi Everyone!

We are planning a trip July 2 - 12, 2016. We are staying at the Poly for 3 nights then moving to Beach Club. Our plan was to stick with MK/Epcot the first 3 days to take advantage of the location of the Poly. Our last night at Poly will be the 4th. Should we go with the least crowded park (AK, also has EMH that day) for the 4th or deal with the crowds at MK? We did HS this past 4th (it was ridiculously packed) then Epcot for fireworks. Can anyone tell me how bad MK is on the 4th of July and how the bus service is from Poly to AK?

Thinking about dinner at Narcoossees and catching fireworks at the Poly beach.

The MK is packed on July 4th. If you combine crowds with weather it's probably the worst day of the year. Sure this week (12/24-1/2) may have a few more people but when you factor in the heat and sweaty-ness you get in July I think it makes July 4 the worst experience.

But....the fireworks are awesome. My first day at MK ever was 7/4/10 and all I have are good memories. I remember it was busy (it was the only time I've used the HM extended queue down on the water). But it was very fun!

So there you have it: it's the worst combo of crowd + heat/humidity but it's also a lot of fun.

bus service from Poly is probably shared with Contemporary.

They run the same firework show at Magic Kingdom on the 3rd. I'd do that, and, if you want fireworks on the 4th, too, then head over to Epcot where there's so much more space.
