The wife really likes to see a good fireworks show, especially for NYE and July 4th. Since we've been AP holders at WDW for years, we usualy spend NYE at Epcot (sometimes MK); if we're in town for the 4th we tend to alternate between Epcot and MK as well. We always have a great time and the fireworks are always spectacular.
This year I've got the idea planted in my head to take her to the DLR for the week of the 4th. I've got everything ready to go-- the concierge rooms at the Grand Californian, airfare, park tickets, etc., but...
I know DL is getting a new show that no one has seen yet, but has anyone seen previous year's shows (4th and/or NYE) AND seen the same kind of show at WDW? Or can anyone at least describe what they do for the 4th? (i.e. what do they do "special" for the 4th? etc.)
