Hi Everyone,
I have made my advance seating arrangement (I can't remember what they are actually called) for July 4th but am re-thinking it. The parks will, I imagine, be crazy - especially MK. Would I be better off eating at one of the hotels or even Downtown Disney? My "reservations" are for Crystal Palace at 7:00pm on the 4th - will I even get in to eat before 9 and do I have to spend 10-12 hours at the park to ensure I can even get to the restaurant to check in? Any advice would be most welcome.:confused3

If the MK closes for capacity on the 4th (which it may very well do) while you are out of the park, you won't be able to get in, even if you have an ADR. If you really want that Crystal Palace reservation I think you need to plan to go to the park early and stay there all day, or at the very least have a backup plan.

I agree. If you want to eat in MK, go to MK and stay there. We had CP at 8:05. That was so we could get in before the park opens, but they changed the hours, so that blew that one out of the water. so now we are goin gto hit a couple of rides and go to CP at 9:40. We canceled the other one. We have dinner reservations at the Plaza. We wanted a couple of TS, so that we could sit out of the heat for a while.
