4th of july at BLT

I figured 4th of july weekend would be totally booked & crazy at disney..but i just called MS and was able to book a 2br lakeview at BLT for jul 2nd-8th no problem! How are the crowds on 4th of july at disney? anything special disney does for 4th of july?

This will be our 2nd annual family trip home at DVC members..with our first trip home to BLT in 11 days! With our 2 kids 4yr & 1.5yr old! We can't wait!

Yes the do do quite abit for the 4th!
Will do a "preview" of the fireworks for MK on the 3rd. The 4ths Fireworks are really great. HOWEVER would try to avoid MK Park itself on the day of the 4th gets VERY crowded, we always do EPCOT then Monorail over late for the festivities. Each resort will do its own little thing as well. We always take 1 of our weeks during that time of year just nowhere we would rather be then at Disney for the 4th! Shawn

DH and I will be at BCV July 2 to 7 We did it last year and will do it again! Only the 4th was really crazy, and we went to Epcot.

We were this year and the crowds were not that bad ( I thought) of course the last time we were there was over New Years so that is how I compared. We had dinner reservations @ Ca. Grill for the night of the 4th so we had a great spot to view the fireworks, seeing you are @ BLT I would just plan on viewing the fireworks from there you have a great spot.
