4th of July, 2008

Hey,

We had a great time this 4th.... Met quite a few folks, and some folks were there that we didn't even know about. WE NEED TO PLAN A BIG OUTING FOR NEXT YEAR. This way, we can try and all get the same loop for campers.... Folks like Big Disney and all left before some of us could meet them... Auburn Jen is going already, Stacktester and I had a great time chatting last night (I finally met Ms. Sundee )..... Why not try to let the word out and get our own loop next year, or as much of a loop as possible..... We can go for the entire week, and plan accordingly... plus we can try for a labor day or something for those who are in FL, or close enough..

We are THERE! I am already scanning the dollar stores for items for the cart! I cannot BELIEVE all the stuff on the carts! WOW! I am all for us all staying in the same loop. What a hoot that would be...I read in another thread that Stacktester was actually considering buying a cart! Good for him! As for Labor Day, Auburn is playing KState, so I think we will have to flip a coin...man, a hard decision! I can't go to Auburn games in November since I have High School Fall Softball (I am trying to get one of my assistants to do the games on the weekend, but no luck so far), but the Florida game is already on the calendar. As many Dis'ers that can go, please do. I checked the boards all day on the fourth waiting in angst for pictures!

BTW- cwmajors is the DH and is also coming with DS3

We are not in for the 4th for next year because we will be in Cancun, but we will be there for Labor Day this year.... I think we have 4 or 5 sites together.

Next years schedule shows me off July 2,3,4,5 so i may be able to get days before and after off. I hate that you all missed us while we were there, I am sure that meeting me and Disneymom would have been the highlight of your trip......

Unfortunately, 4th of July week is not possible for us. That is when our troop always goes to summer camp. (North Georgia is a lot cooler than Central Florida that week.) Also, the International T@B rally in Minden, NE will be held July 4th week 2009, so I'm planning on that.

Great Idea gatordad

Count us in and hopefully we will have a few friends along with us. The real question is which loop does everyone want to request??? Preferred, full-hookup???? We are easy with the exception of the partial hookups- not enough trees in most of the sites.

We stayed in 500 this time, but I feel it is just so so, too far of a walk to everything. I love 900 because of it is in the vicinity of the Meadow Trading Post. The 4 loops that are together (I think it Timber Trial, Conastooga Trial- oh I forget) are good, they are accross from the pool sort of. 100 and 200 are easy walking to Settlement Trading Post. blah, blah, blah, blah blah........... anyone else's thoughts? This could be a debate all in itself for a few months.

We'll be there June 28 - July 18. We have requested the 100 loop as it is our favorite loop and much easier for our children with mobility issues. Hopefully we'll see some of you there
