What is the best thing to do on 4th July. We were going to go to epcot about noon & stay for fireworks, but now i'm not sure if this would be a waste of a day (as this is our first time at disney & we only have 1 day at epcot) because its so busy.
What is open on 4th? shops, seaworld, waterparks etc.
All thoughts would be greatfully received.

Open on July 4th and they will be busy.It is a very special day to be at WDW.It will be hot so drink plenty of water and take some rest breaks in the shade. The fireworks at Epcot on the 4th are awesome.Arrive early as you can and eat some good food for meals and snacks.I would avoid a lot of sugary snacks and drinks, give you that sugar high then sugar meltdown.Don't forget the sunscreen and comfortable shoes. You and your family have a magical day,you will have memories for a life time. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Everything is open to my knowledge on the 4th; well everything at WDW is. As far as it being a "waste of a day" there really isn`t a better day at one of the parks on the week of the 4th as they are all extremely crowded. I`ll be at EPCOT that day as well :flower: I would just avoid the MK on the 4th...it`s horrible you barely have room to breathe :earseek: ha!

We were there last July 4th. Very crowded, but had a great time. We watched the fireworks in Epcot, unbelievable, enjoy....... :rolleyes1
