Is there anything special/different at US or IOA on the 4th July?

Just wondering as we did Disney last year at this time but will be at the HRH this year.

This is the start of when the parks stay open until 10pm until the 3rd week of August (the most busy time).

They have the Aero 360 show at USF with fireworks at 09:50pm.

It's hot in the afternoon, so do the two visit approach. Go early in the morning for a few hours, back to your hotel to rest, then come back at night.

We were there the last week of June last year, and I'm pretty sure the parks were open till 10pm because we were there for the "debut" of Universal 360 show...... Don't the parks stay open till 10pm at the end of June?

are they going to do the 360 show again. I heard a rumor that they might bring it back.

Probably. We'll find out the first two weeks of April.
From what I've heard, the 360 show has less fireworks. I'm sure the suits at the top want to save money if that's the case.

i enjoyed the 360 show... liked the fireworks and images projected onto the buildings.... a good show IMHO.... (but, not something I need to see every night!)

We were fortunate enough to see the 360 show last year, my DS is really into his films and enjoyed it.

Are there any special 4th July fireworks?

There are a ton of fireworks at night. The show probably lasted about 15-20 minutes last year. It was awesome.
