And, since I'm first, I feel the need to christen the thread appropriately with next year's t-shirt design:

It's been a few hours, so I wanted to make sure everybody has seen this picture.

I would totally wear that.

So far we have 4 votes for our shirt design, and 1 real and fabulous vote against.

I had that for the first time during this trip. YUMMO!

When did you sneak away from me to eat my favorite snack? I never got one this trip!

Dates for the poll thus far:

I'm thinking one more time frame. Maybe something else in March..... the 17th thru 21st perhaps?

I really, really, really can't leave on Marty's birthday again, so I will have to vote against the February dates.


Busy, busy day for me today. We spent 3 hours cleaning the kitchen where we will be starting a new job Friday. The last caterer left it a huge filthy mess. I'm glad we cleaned it up today though. Friday will be much easier now.

I would wear this shirt, really. I am trying on a new mellow get along personality for this trip. Do you like it? I am sure it won't last, but for now,I am being totally agreeable. Okay, so the head distortion thing is a problem, but I am thinking if it is the difference of me making the meet or not attending, I am thinking you will take one for the team, yes? Callie is an attractive woman, a little distortion won't turn her into too much of a gargoyle.

We seriously need to work on the hazing thing though. That is the part I find super interesting.

Awww believe it or not....I miss going to doing Veterinary CE stuff, was always fun for me. I have a funny story about Deramaxx. I ended up winning a contest and the company flew myself and 3 of my co-workers to San Diego for 3 days to see a Wynonna Judd concert, we had a blast! LOL ok...back to the topic. Early March dates would work for me, but only for selfish reasons....Im going to upgrade to AP's while im at DL next week!

Oh and I guess I should do introductions for those who dont know me or didnt read my last introduction on the last trip planning thread.

I'm Cathy, 35 I used to be a veterinary assistant and receptionist for years at an AAHA hospital, then I moved to Oregon wow what a difference in the standard of care! so anyway Im on a "leave" from that field until I can find something that suits me, who knows, im kinda toying around with the idea of opening a deli?!?!?

Ive been married since May of 08, yep not even two years to MY BEST FRIEND, Monte (aka DH) he drives a huge fuel tanker truck across the state and back everyday, yep hes the guy bringing the fuel to the local gas stations for you! hey dont yell at him! hes only the delivery driver!!! he didnt raise the prices!!! LOL

Ive got three kids
Luke, 15
Jake, 12
and Katelyn 8

Oh, and we have one spoiled rotten miniature poodle named Bella...shes our baby

I love all the discussion on dates .

I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents about the first week of April. My kids school district & the surrounding school districts always have the first week of April off no matter when Easter falls.

But like someone already said no matter what time you go in April, you are bound to get some sort of Spring Break crowd.
