On Feb. 16, I plan to take the kids and watch Wishes from the forth floor balcony of the Contemporary. I understand that the music is piped in but I'm wondering how crowded does it get? Do we need to get there super early or is it big enough to come whenever?

In order to watch WISHES I believe you need to make reservations for dinner. I do not think they let you upstairs anymore if you do not have reservations at the Garden Grill.

The 4th floor observation deck is open to anyone. Some nights there are a lot of people, other nights only a few. It's not terribly predictable, other than on July 4th, NYE, etc.

The Garden Grill is at Epcot. The California Grill is at the Contemporary on the 15th floor. You can't go to that observation area without a reservation at the California Grill.

Thanks Ducklite-

So I'll keep the plan for the fourth floor. I knew about the California Grill and how you can't get up there without a resse anymore, and frankly I'm not spending that kind of money on dinners that the kids will only eat half of in order to watch fireworks! My nephew is 14 and my neice is 10 so even with a kids menu for my neice, my nephew will still cost me an arm and a leg, when he could have been just has happy with a burger from the food court!
