THE DAY OF THE AMEBA
Awww Today was to be the day that I got Amebas in my ears that then went into my brain . But that will be later in the report .
This is the day that we will be meeting Rick( RickinNYC) and Joe ( BilliesotherDad) at the MNSSHP.
We all got up and went to grab a bite to eat at the Concierge lounge. While eating I noticed a man fussing around the table that held the food. He was the manager Mark I wanted to tell him how much I enjoy the staff there. When I started chatting with him I brought up that many of my friends from the DIS love the hotel. He knew all about the DIS ! After chatting with Mark it was time to hop on the bus to go to MGM . We thought we would try to sqeeze in a few rides on TOT. We didnt wait long for a bus maybe 10 min or so . When we got there ,again it was kinda empty . We split up with the parental Units and they went off to see some shows.As my DH and I made our way over to TOT He asked me " how many more times do you think you can ride this thing?" bawwhaaaaa. We got to the ride and we just walked on 8 more times ! It was close to time to meet the Parental Units so we started making our way down to the Big Hat as my DH called it .
We noticed that everyone there seemed to be in slow motion no one was in a rush . That is a nice change of pace for any Disney park. We walked around ate some snacks and went back to the hotel for a nap.
After everyone laid down for thier nap I snuck out and went to do the last of my shopping in the gift shop . I grabbed the camera and took my time walking around the WL . It was kinda nice to be alone and in my favorite hotel. After buying up the stuff I didnt want Dh to know about LOL ( I shipped it home) I got into the elevator with about 8 other people and when the man who was pushing the buttons asked me what floor I said the 7th and that I would need to stick in my key card. He smiled and scooted over after he watched me put it in he said" Excuse me but can you tell me what is up there on the 7th floor?" I said " that is where Disney keeps all the bodies"...bawwhaaa then I told him the truth . Everyone was laughing .
When I got back to the room they were up and ready to go . We headed down to DTD to do some shopping. DH and the Father Unit went to play at DisneyQuest and the Mom Unit and I shopped for the last of the things we knew we couldnt live without . I came , I saw, I shopped , I bought .... I SHIPPED it all back home LOL.It was most wonderful 2 hours of my life !
But it was tiime to go back to get ready for the MNSSHP . The Mother Unit was dying to eat as many Dole Whips as she could before getting on that plane Saturday afternoon .
