MNSSHP or better known as the DAY OF THE AMEBA!
We put on our Holloween shirts and headed down to the boat dock . This would be our last night in the parks we had a 3:25 flight the next day . We all felt a little down knowing that we would be headed back to Dallas at this time the next day .
When we got in the park the 1st thing that I noticed was that it was not as decorated as last years party. On the quest for yet more stuff that we didnt need we went to try and shop on Main Street . I didnt know they shut it all down to help clear the park. We sat on the curb and watched people being led out of the park . At 7:00 pm sharp they opened up the park . We began on Buzz Lightyear what a blast I love this ride . Of course we went to Space Mountian and rode that 3 times in a row.
My Dh had told my Nephew ( I took him last year with me to WDW) that when he saw Mickey Mouse he would punch him in the eye ( EVIL MAN !) HE wasnt leaving till we found Mickey Mouse to stage this photo for proof LOL We did find him later over in Toon Town where of course my Dh staged the photo much to Mickeys supprise!
It was almost time for the 1st Parade and that is where we were to catch up with Rick and Joe Who will now be reffered to as " The keepers of the AMEBA" Rick and I chatted and Joe and my Dh had thier own little conversation . I kinda felt bad about keeping them away from thier own plans.
They asked if we wanted to just kinda hang out and ride stuff with them . After finding some really good hot dogs we headed off for the Dole Whip for the Mother Unit . Did ya know they dont keep that open during the party? We didnt know this either ,She was so sad! But we plugged on Rick asked if we wanted to ride what I like to call the Ameba breeding ground . Let me just say that I tried to explain to Rick about how I dont ride water rides at any amusment park . Not even Disney! It feels dirty and I hate the feeling of never being dry .My Dh was of course telling about how I was the Princess and didnt do dirt LOL.
I dont give a hoot about Brer Rabbit and I didnt want to ride his little ride! Of course "The Keeper of the Ameba "boys wouldnt take No . So off we went , They all laughed when I told my DH to sit on the seat and slide over so I wouldnt have to sit in water. They all knew that it wouldnt matter in the end they were so evil they made sure that I was nice and wet, after I was splished and spalshed I begged my DH to give me my poncho . Rick of course spent this time plotting against me HIS FRIEND ! He and Joe made some kind of plan to make sure that they would both lean out so that I would get a FULL FACE of water on the big splash . All through the ride I kept telling them about the filth in that water and how the Amebas were laying there somewhere waiting to bed themself in my ear canal ! EVIL I tell you !!
of course I was soaked by the end of the ride and I was upset because I swear I could feel the Amebas working thier way to my brain LOL.
The rest of the evening I was uncomfortable and wet . Rick and Joe and of course my Dh made cracks about the Amebas every chance they had. The Parental Units I think might have felt sorry for me , but they were more worried about the whole Dole Whip sistuation and if they woudl be able to get more at any point before we left for Dallas .
We rode many rides with "The keepers of the Amebas" we had a ton of fun and we cant wait to see them again .
On our last ride of the night we went to Space Mountian and we got to ride with 3 CMs who were coming down from the top to go home. They made the ride so much fun , the were screaming and shouting and really getting into it . We all enjoyed that ride more because of them !
We said our Goodbyes and headed back to the Lodge to a nice shower and some dry jammies.
