49th Birthday Trip - Yippee

Hi all

My hubby tried to surprise me with a birthday trip to DL (my boss' wife couldn't keep a secret - lol) He booked us a Theme park view Concierge room at the DLH - I'm so excited. He remembered me saying I always wanted to go to DL when it was decorated for the holidays. We wanted to go between Thanksgiving and Xmas but couldn't get time off of work at the same time.

Will the parks be all decked out for the holidays at this time (Nov 22 - 26)? I Hope so!!

Will there be a holiday themed parade?

Any info on the DLH Concierge?


When do you think they'll post park hours and rehabs?

How fun! That's my favorite time to go!!

The Christmas Parade starts on Thanksgiving Day.

The decorations go up Nov. 7th, I think Holiday Believe! starts then too.

I think the hours are posted on the site the month before, but not sure. Also check mouseplanet for the hours and such.

No help on the conceirge but have a BLAST!

You are gonna love it! Nothing starts that Christmas spirit flowing like Disneyland decorated for the holidays
The parks will be fairly crowded your dates (the beginning of Thanksgiving week) but you'll be there long enough to bail out during the early afternoon crunch. I've found poping over to DCA during the DL crunch really works well....or doing a late lunch at one of the hotel restaurants or Downtown Disney makes a great break.
Be sure and do Goofy's Kitchen (any meal!) and I really love breakfast at Storytellers in the GC.
I'll probably be there the weekend before you.....to get my holiday juices flowing!
