48 inches for Jaws?

Why such a high height restriction for this ride?

I think my kids would enjoy it, my 7 year old might be 48 inches by our Sept trip, but my 4 year old is only 41.5 inches now.....

That's 48 inches to ride alone. Your younger one can ride as long as he's with an adult.

There is an asterisk after the "must be 48 inches" then it says underneath that "must be 48 inches to ride alone."

I can vouch for this -- my daughter rode with me a few weeks ago, and she's 40 inches tall.
