I don't know if this a promotion or a glitch, but I was using a 3rd party website that that takes fares and compares them automatically for you. I booked 2 seats from Seattle to Orlando (with a stop in MSP) for $47 each. This was for May 2014 I thought I would share here. Hopefully some of you can find a great deal before it goes away!

I just saw that Expedia has Delta flights for $52 one way to Orlando from Philadelphia with one stop. I tried to check the Delta sight but got an error message.

When I try to book at that price it changes it from $91 to $598 :guilty: That would have been an awesome reason to go in May but I guess it isn't happening, Congrats on scoring great tickets OP!

I selected round trip flights from LA to MCO, Apr 19-May 9 with a $43.84 price for round trip advertised. When I finished the booking, it's trying to charge me $526.70.

With the following disclaimer:

Price Change

Your ticket price changed from $43.84 to $526.70. The airline could not confirm the original price due to pricing or availability changes that occurred after we posted the latest prices on our site. Continue booking or look for a different flight.

Same here. When I got to the check out screen, it said my price had changed from $260 to $3400. I would have planned another trip for $52/person round trip!

I tried as well, it seems they caught the glitch before many of us could grab the deal. You got very luck OP! :)

Honestly, I don't know the specific rules about posting websites, that is why I did not name the site exactly, but the italics in my OP were carefully placed for a reason.

I am sorry the fares are changing for others who are trying. Someone at Delta must have gotten wise. I knew it was too good to last. :worried:

I printed my confirmation from the webpage, my e-mailed confirmations, and I even went onto my bank's site and printed the pending charge to my credit card to try and make sure nobody could take it back! I was hoping I could get tickets from SEA to MCO for about $350 each but was prepared to pay up to $500. This is definitely my Christmas miracle!

Delta has already announced they will be honoring those fares if you did purchase them at the low rates. Congrats!!!

I got in on it too. Got 3 round trip tix from Des Moines to Orlando and insurance for $200. Super Duper Excited!!! Congrats OP.

Do you have the Alaska Airline Visa? At least you can get a companion ticket for $110 RT.

Yep Delta had a glitch today. They caught it, but they will be honoring the tickets that were purchased at the super low rates. Merry Christmas to those of you who caught it!:cool1:

No way!! I've been shopping Sea-Mco for my Twinkie every day for months! Its still over $400 pp for anything decent. I still can't find where the website is....

:sad::sad::sad:

Oh my gosh, I am just sick right now, how I missed this...

www.farecompare.com

To find out if it's OK to mention a site, put in the URL. Hit Preview. If it comes through without xxxx in place of the URL, it's OK.

But it sounds like it worked through delta, too. Just...not for long.

What time period are you looking for? Are you checking out all airlines?

Doesn't matter, Delta caught the error and fixed it.

I know. I can't believe I missed it. Good thing I'm going to run my frustration out at the gym. I just missed this post, I don't know how, I had it up but work was sorta busy and it never clicked what the title of the thread was until just now. I missed it! And it's my fault!

I'm just disgusted. Now I wish I hadn't even clicked on this thread.

Well, I went there as soon as the post showed up on my computer, and it was already fixed. :sad1:

I almost decided what cruise we're taking next, based on this. DH would have been surprised when he got home. Oh, well. :confused3

It was already fixed when I read the first post and that was after about 5 min of it posting so don't beat yourself up too much! I am bummed I didn't get it either but oh well.

Can we all have a pity party and commiserate? I mean, not even this cup of coffee is helping....

My only hope is that so many people booked when they found the good fares, that it will motivate SWA etc to come down some to try and get in on the action...

I'm also hoping post xmas rates will come down since less people have $$ to spend on airfare...

16 weeks to go and hoping for a deal, PIF is in Feb and I want to book them airfare so hubby can't change his mind...

... can't be twin princess mermaids without the other half...
