Anyone else frustrated about planning their June trip this year? No "real" park hours, no FP or ADR's for "opening in June" attractions or dining.... I am a planner and have planned since the 180 day mark. Staying at the Poly CL, DxDDP, park tickets, plane tickets, memory maker....but no end in sight to planning:crutches::thanks:

Sorry Disney is so slow.
This is an unintended consequence of the overly-complex and expensive "MyMagicPlus" system.
Everyone is EXPECTED to plan far ahead, but when Disney can't deliver good information in advance, the whole thing collapses.

:welcome: to posting on the DISboards, VisionDisney!

I'm in the same boat. Still going to Disney, so that's great. But yes, it's frustrating. I did what I was supposed to do. Started booking 180 days out. And now I'm stuck with plans that don't work with new events and things I still can't figure out because Disney won't release information. I'm sure it will all work out, but it is frustrating.

Yeah this isn't just your problem, so I'll stand with you. Everyone (including me) who is planning a trip in the next year is likely going to have to deal with this, to some extent.

I guess June 2016 is difficult to predict: a lot of new attractions coming online along with a lot of variables that are difficult for them to predict, new offerings to supplement hours and likely last-minute bookings that either are or aren't materializing make this particular June 'special' but it has been a theme, no?

There is something to be said for making a firm decision and sticking with it. Clearly they are trying minimize cost and maximize guest experience, but this indecision and modifications come with their own costs: consumer loyalty and buying into their uber-planned travel model.

I have a feeling someone at Parks is going to put a foot down and say: ENOUGH. Stop meddling and lets go with what we have now.

Thanks for the reply Robo! :) Planning is usually part of the Disney experience and excitement leading up to the trip. I have planned my own and others Disney trips and this is the 1st time I have been frustrated with the experience.....

I am right there with you guys. I have been planning trips to WDW for almost 20 years, including trips around Food & Wine, Christmas/New Years, and even a Fairytale wedding in June 2013 with over 100 guests, and our trip in June has been the most frustrating to plan. No matter what, I know, we will have a great time but at 36 days out we should be set with plans - except for maybe the odd hour extension of park hours.

I'll be there in 40 days, and with the exception of possible FPs for the Frozen attractions and the Jungle Book show, our plans are set. We'll get updated MK hours soon enough. At least we can now book Soarin' FPs, and AK hours were extended.

Sign me up too! We are 34 days out and the only thing we know, is AK will be open until 11p. Which is helpful, but the waiting for park hour updates is starting to get frustrating!! Well, we can say, We are going to Disney next month!!! So yay for that!!

I'm frustrated too ! I would like to plan FP for Frozen, the Jungle Book show and a night ride on EE.
We also want reservations for the dessert party at HS, but that is not available either.
What is the hold up with updating MK hours ? Surely it is not closing at 10:00. I mean come on Disney get it together already !

Yep....same here. We arrive in 1 month from today (YAY!) and I feel like Disney is so in flux right now. I actually emailed the executive offices and received a phone call back to discuss my concerns the other day. Not too much help though he did apologize and explain their reasoning (they are extremely gun shy since the ROL announcement screw up). I was grateful for the call back, at least. And then I was actually given some extra fast passes for my troubles.

Just returned from April 23 to 30 trip and was caught up in the rol madness. Sitting here in my cubicle mourning the end of a perfect trip, let me assure you that you can relax. Do your planning, be flexible, and get ready for the fun!

I hear ya. I'm frustrated with the calendar uncertainty as it stands for our trip in October. I can't imagine what it's going to people with trips planned for June and July.

Well that was nice of them to give you extra fast passes!
