I am up early again. And a mutiny is afoot. The troops are lagging, still in bed at 7:40. Unacceptable. I give them a pep talk..."Come on, focus people. We need to give it our all, it's the final push. We have to get up, and get in there and fight! Stick together! Push on!" They all throw pillows at me. "Men, it's the most important 10 minutes of the day. Let's go". DH says I sound like a football coach. For the rest of the trip, we spontaneously tell one another it is the most important 10 minutes of the day... for no reason... whenever we feel like it.
Off to MK for opening. This one is cute, not annoying like Epcot. We do all our faves, DS 10 tells the Haunted Mansion CM to have a "Happy Disney Day" again. She scowls. He loves this. We also do Philharmagic again, a new family favorite.

Then monorail to Epcot for a little more Mission Space... but only one time, we have learned our lesson. DS 10 starts the fun by pulling my arm back (so it looks like I am dragging him) and saying "No Mommy, please don't make me go again!" We get in the capsule and push everything and anything. I especially like the "Power" switch that turns off some of the lights when you switch it to off. We take off and pass barf bags back and forth between each other. Then they tell each of us to do our jobs. It's the Navigator's turn... DH looks at us and says "Oh my gosh. WE DON'T HAVE A NAVIGATOR!"
Too funny, but I think you had to be there. I proceed to take DS10's joystick and move it the opposite way you are supposed to, then around in circles. We ended the ride by moving muscles. Lot's of them. (You have to ride the ride to get this).

Off to Mexico for some well deserved chips, salsa and Margaritas for the adults. I walk the world one more time (and walk off the margarita!) while boys return to AKL and the pool.

Dinner was at Jikos. First we asked ds14 to watch ds10 while we went and had a cocktail before dinner and some adult time. DS14 then said "Going for some Pecos Bill time, are you?" (see previous posts). Dinner was good, enjoyed chatting with the host from South Africa. He explained to the kids how you can wear your own name tag and where you are from, make something up, or just grab a tag from a pile if you forget yours. His favorite was when we was "Mark from Minnesota". I think Jikos is a little less kid friendly, food wise, than California Grill. DS14 is pretty adventurous, but did not really like his pork tenderloin. I had a steaked ordered medium well, and it was very red. I know, I could have sent it back, it just wasn't that big of a deal. DH loved his scallops. Desserts were a big hit. And the most important 10 minutes of the day. Off to bed to rest up for one last half day at the parks(I said I was commando, right?) and home.

especially Mission space dialogue.......to funny.......thanks so much for your report .......I have enjoyed it

too funny on MS
similar thing me, dh and my mom went on (dad did it once - never again) and she didnt pay attention to who she was supposed to be and as we start to take off she was saying Am I the Navigator? Whos the Navigator? Who am I? It was soo funny

I dont get the "moving muscles" :confused3

Spoilers for those who have not ridden MS... Don't read! At the very end, when your spaceship lands and balances precariously on the edge of the ice... Gary Sinese says "Don't move a muscle" right before your spaceship careens down the cliff.
