41' motor home in 1600 - 1900 loops?

Hi,

I just booked a full - hook up campsite for my parents as a 50th anniversary gift. I was disappointed that they did not have any premium sites available in Jan or early Feb. They have a 41' motor home with 3 slides. The CM told me that they would probably be in one of the 1600 - 1900 loops. After doing some reading about the sites, I am concerned that they will get a site that will accommodate them. Does anyone know if those loops are big rig friendly?? Also, should I keep checking for cancellations in hopes of a premium site becoming available? Does this happen often?

They should not have a problem, be sure and mention the size. We have stayed in the 1600 Loop with a 30' 5th wheel and 22' truck and they fit ok...

They will have plenty of 45's for company then.

Same here but with a 31' TT and a 20'+ Van. You might request an outside site on the loop since some of the inside sites are a little tighter. Last year I watch a gent in a 40 to 45' class a towing a HUGH enclosed cargo trailer that had to be 25 to 28' back into the site next to us. When he pulled up I said NO WAY, but dang if he didn't get in in. Only problem he took up the entire site, concrete and the gravel area so that was one BIG RIG. When he got it in I actually walked out, shook his hand and said I never thought what you just did was possible and my hat is off to you.

we are in 1900 this trip ( well, we check out today ). I think its fine for a bigger rig but, they are narrow.I was barely able to get the picnic table under the awning and it is close enough that I can lean back on the camper..
