Planning a girls trip for my 4oth birthday and WDW Marathon Weekend. Looking for Jan 5-9. What are your suggestions for off site accommodations for lots of fun but proximity to the parks and Disney Springs? Was eyeballing the cottages at Margaritaville but that resort fee is steep! Although might be worth it if we can get a decent sized group together. Right now there are just 4 of us.

Any input appreciated!

The Waldorf is still one of my favorites and the location can't be beat. It's upscale, good food, nice amenities, big rooms, amazing spa and pool service, etc.

I haven't stayed at the new JW at Bonnet Creek yet but reviews seem good and I typically love staying at JW's in other cities.

Just planned a girls trip for the same week with some of my high school friends! We're staying at the Homewood Suites at Flamingo Crossing (6 people) - price is a good balance between proximity to the parks, living room space, and a package that Disney offers via their travel agents.

Also, just for your reference, we had compared prices at Home2Suites, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, Residence Inn at Buena Vista, and Sonesta ES at Buena Vista. Happy to share any of that data.
