My husband and I are going to be at Disney on his 40th birthday (and a week before mine). His birthday is currently our last night (I go back and forth about extending it another night!) We are getting the Deluxe Dining Plan and staying at All star movies since we won't be at the hotel much (but I am secretly hoping some good deals come out soon for Feb that I can upgrade our resort!)
When we go to Disney, its about the food and relaxing. I am not thrilled that I pretty much have to micro manage our meals to get some good food but I understand I need to do it (and I can start making reservations this weekend!)
My husband said I can pick where and what we eat on his birthday to surprise him. I was going to look into the chef's table at Flying Fish but I see now it will be under refurbishment during our trip. I am not against paying extra for a nicer meal-something above and beyond what the typical signature dinner is but not quite V & A level (I know he won't want to get all dressed up especially on his birthday LOL) but we tend to do a lot of the signature restaurants anyway so I know he likes though.
Can anyone offer any suggestions for a restaurant that has something to make it a little more than the typical dinner? We are not big seafood people, but we do enjoy our steaks LOL
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
