40th Birthday Celebration at Narcosees any cake recommendations?

I was just wondering if anyone had any cake or dessert suggestions for a 40th birthday celebration at Narcosees? Do they do the slipper dessert there or any other type of special celebration cake?

Because Narcoossees is at the Grand Floridian, anything that is available at the Grand Floridian Bakery will be able to be had at the restaurant.

You can definitely get the Slipper Dessert or cake of your choice., the sky and your pocket book are the only limit as to what can be created by the pastry chefs at the Grand's Bakery.

Narcoossee's almond-crusted cheesecake with the cherry sauce is one of the best desserts at WDW!!!! It's not a slice, but an individual little cake. If you decide not to order an entire cake from GF bakery ($$$$$$), I'll bet your server would be willing to pop a candle in a serving for the guest of honor!

Somebody showed a picture of it a few days ago, but I can't remember the thread. You could even ask them to "write" happy birthday in chocolate sauce on the plate!

That is a fantastic suggestion. I just saw them on the birthday cake thread and they are nice and not to much money. And yes I only turn 40 once maybe it will be less painful celebrating at Narcosees than at home. LOL.
