40th Anniversary Dinner

For my inlaws 40th wedding anniversary, they are taking us to WDW. There will be 10 of us. My inlaws, dh, myself, sil, bil, and four children 12, 10, 9, and 6. I am planning on having a few surprises for them during the trip to thank them for taking us. One of the surprises being a nice anniversary dinner with all of us and a anniversary cake for dessert. So I need your help. Where would you recommend we go for the dinner? Thanks for your help.

California Grill...We ate there its great for a special occassion. make reservations close to wishes and u will be able to see the fireworks from your seat or the balcony.

i also noted a private room when i was there..i dont know anything about it but maybe you can look into that..its looks like you could have a small group in there

We are heading to WDW in Nov for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We are having their anniversary dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I know buffet isn't everyone's ideal choice... however, we have some picky eaters among us, and they would never go for the "fancy" food offered at CG, Jiko, or AP.

We wanted a special cake for the event, so we choose the Grand Floridian, because their bakery is amazing. We opted for Park Fare over the cafe just based upon the menu. But how fun to celebrate your anniversary with Prince Charming and Cinderella.!

I would have to suggest California Grill. We have had our Anniversary dinners there before and had a wonderful time. If you want to try something less formal I would suggest O'hanas at the Poly resort. We also did our Anniversary at the Hoop De Doo show one year and had a great time.
