40% room only PIN code and pay for DP?

Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone knows if I would be able to do this...

I would like to use a 40% off PIN code at the Beach Club, pay for the regular Dining Plan or Quick Service Dining Plan (not sure yet), and get park hopper passes.

Can I do that? Or can I not actually buy the Dining Plan because I am using the 40% PIN code?

Using a pin does not dictate what you can or can not add to your package. The pin discount itself may be limited in that it may only apply to your room, while some actually can apply to your whole package. So, yes you can do whichever dining plan you choose to do. You can also add other things to your package like water parks or park hopper tickets. Just know that the 40% off will only apply to what it says it applies to.

Yes! We are doing the 40% off resort at AKL, 7 day park hopper tix with water parks, and paying for the dining plan. We have saved about $1,000 with that discount code, than with our original quote (before the discounts came out). It's a great deal!

You can get ONLY get the dining plan if you book at least 1 day of park tickets too. Doesn't have to include hopper or H2O parks, but you must book at least a base ticket for a minimum of 1 day. I called to check on this.

i want to buy 10 day tickets for a 6 day stay - its cheaper than buying park hoppers.

would i have to pay for dining plan for 10 days?

Your dining plan must match your room nights, otherwise you have to break up your reservation in to a second stay. However, you can buy as many days park passes on that first reservation (IE. 6n stay w/6n dining + 10d park passes, then buy 4n room only with the pin again). As long as the pin doesn't expire, you can use it again - assuming your second reservation doesn't fall within the blackout dates. We have a single night at the end of our reservation, re-using our pin on a room only reservation since we're checking out early, and didn't want to buy dining plan and waste it. We did opt to hop over to AKL for that last night (otherwise we're at YC/CL) so the boys could experience the savannah in the morning before we leave. But we are just using the same pin over.

ETA: I'm not sure how your tickets would work? I don't think you could still hop just because you bought extra days and use them within the day. The pass is still only good for one day. I could be wrong, if so - I'm sure someone will correct me. But I believe you'll be forced in to hoppers or full fare for that extra park.

You won't be able to hop with extra days in case you don't know that. You can go to a park and leave but you have to go back to the same park.
