40% Question

Hey guys....I got the 40% pin and called and booked for October 2 - October the 7th. I was only able to use the 40% off on the first 2 days because they fall under the allowable dates. Has anyone been able to book starting on a allowable date and get the full discount even though it falls under not allowable? Just wondering if maybe I need to call back. Seems like someone said they were able to do this.

I just booked 11/15-22 (7 nights) using the 40% code. At first the CM said the code was only good thru the 21 so I couldn't get the 40% on the last night. I explained, though, that checking out on the 22nd is staying the night of the 21st so it was included in the allowable dates.

To answer your question, your dates have to fall within the Disney outlined stay dates to get the discount.

What the CM told you is correct. If your dates start in the offer period but end outside of it, you will only get the dates that fall within the offer period at the discounted rate.

Is the 40% off pin only for military or have others received it?

Ever since Disney implemented its new pricing system, it doesn't work anymore to start a trip during the promo and get that rate for the whole trip if your dates end outside of the promo period. I am disappointed too.....but I do understand the logic. I got the 40% offer too, and I booked my trip to end on Oct 4 so I could at least have a little bit of time there in October....
