Ok, once again Disney is sending discounts to my children. This time my 13 year old son received the 40% off mailer in his name. Why in the world are these sent to children and not the adults who pay for the trips?? The last time Disney stated to be able to use the discount the child who's name the mailer was sent to had to be a part of the party on the trip. I'm assuming the same rule applies this time?

Probably would be the same situation where your 13 yr old would have to be in one of the rooms. Weird though, I imagine somehow your children got on a mailing list of some sort.

I once received a 'Happy 80th Birthday' card in the mail from AARP. Um, I was only 22 at the time!

LMAO!!! Oh that's too funny!

I don't see a pin code any where on this mailer. So, once I get the dates down for the hubby and I to take a quick get away I'll see if we can use it.

When we were there for Thanksgiving, we booked the bounce back for our Anniversary trip (sans kids) for the end of September through the beginning of October. We had a little bit of a hard time at first because DS3 (who was still 2yo--not a real person in WDW eyes lol) was the lead on our reservation. It took a little bit of time, and a supervisor, but they booked it for us. Our biggest problem was that since he wasn’t 3yo yet, they didn’t have his birthday on file. Should have been a hint right there. They were telling us had it been one of our other kids, it could have been straightened out sooner. I don’t get it, but then again, all’s well that ends well.

Also, I never get my AP mailer/magazine/ad thing--except once. Again, it was addressed to my youngest that had never even had a ticket. I had intentionally planned our last three trips for the first to be right after he turned 2yo and the last immediately before he turned 3yo.

Sounds exactly like the problems we've been having the past 3 years. Everything seems to be in our children's names...from lead person, them receiving the bill and email confirmations, etc.... Disney really needs to fix this problem!

For the past 4 months, everyone in my family EXCEPT me, the person who paid for the trip and is registered on every Disney website known to man, has gotten all kinds of offers! I feel so much better that I am not the only this happens to!

I wish my kid would get a code in the mail.... of course she is 28;) , with her own family:goodvibes , but, we always go together, so that would work for us!:cool1:

No kidding - no one in our house has ever received anything, so if my 6 yo received something - I'd be estatic!
