40% pin code

Have any Canadians recieved the 40& off pin code or is it just americans that recieve it? I am so so hoping for one!!!!
 
We got a 40% off PIN last year on October 17th - good for a variety of dates this year, all the way up to December 24th, 2009.

We won't be using the PIN though, as we prefer to stay off-site. Go figure though, the last 2 years when we really wanted one we never got it - now we get one and it won't be used.
 
We received one a couple of weeks ago, good for a variety of dates through 2009. Funny though... came to my mothers address, that I haven't used since our first trip 12 years ago. Been back 4 times since!
 
Yep, I received the 40% pin code 2 days after we returned from our very first trip to WDW last October! :banana: I didn't think we'd be able to use it, but my dh :lovestruc surprised me with an anniversary present of being able to plan a vacation this year! :cloud9:

I booked a trip in November with our amazingly wonderful Canadian Disney-specialist travel agent this morning! :yay: :woohoo:

Can't wait!!!!!!!!

We got it and are using it for our trip next month.
 
We got one in the fall but it was in my brothers name even though i booked, and the reservation was under my name and he doens't live here.:confused3

So we can't use it as he won't be going with us :sad2:
 
I booked for next December and right through Christmas!!!!! I hadn't even left on this years Christmas!!!! Good luck to you!

Try calling, I did and had a pin with my name....

I got one in October.. shortly after returning from my September trip.

I got one via email in October. We used it to book our trip for Nov 29-Dec 5. I can't wait!!!!
 
Where do you phone to see if there is a pin code attached to your name?


As far as I know you just call the Disney Reservations line and when you get a CM then you ask them to check. From what I have read some of them are very helpful when it comes to this and others just tell you if you don't have a code in the mail (snail or email) then there is nothing they can do for you. When I called to book my current trip I had a great CM...I had the 40% pin but he even checked to see if there was anything else available that would be better than the pin or that could be used in conjuction with the pin!

I finally got through on the phone to Disney and no pin code to my name..boo hoo

I called today and I am pissed off. They told me that they are not allowed to check anymore. My mom got a pincode for the 40% with the spelling of her name totally wrong and I called to see if we could use and they said no ( which I was totally expecting) She has not been in 20yrs and got a code and I said that we go every year and not a one, he said that it is all to do with marketing!! But I was really pissed when he said no he couldn't even tell me if their was one attached to my name!:rolleyes2 We were looking at cruises and wanted to do some time on site in addition but I was finding cruises are kinda pricey...perhaps I will say screw Disney this year!:snooty:

I was told that one time. Funny, though, because the next time I called, they checked very willingly. Sometimes I don't think that it is Disney saying "no", but the CM him/herself. Worth a try!
 
We also received the 40% pin code email. We were already booked to go with my sis and her family for 11 days with DVC but when I received this I thought we're already there, might as well stay. We are at ASMu for 9 days, and since I got the pin code we upgraded to preferred, I thought what the heck!!!!!
