40% Package - not Room only??

I just called and found out I had a code, but they said it had to be a package. Has anyone else had this? I thought these were room only 40% codes. Mine works out to 40% off the room, so I just bought a one day ticket. Anyone else, or was I told wrong?

I just called and found out I had a code. It is for 40% off of a room but she said it could be added onto a package. If I were you I would call back again.

I called with my 40% off code and was offered a package, but it was an option and the 40% off was on room only, not passes or dining.

I haven't heard of the code you are referring to. You may want to call back and try another CM

Call again. I was also able to use the code for both room only and package (with only 40% of the room). As far as I know these codes are all (20,30 and 40% PINs) usable for both room only and package.

Knox, you're right. It really shouldn't be! It seems like the CM you'll get can make or break about anything. Great if they make it (like it happened with me), but it's dreadfull that they can break it because of either poor knowledge or maybe even not wanting to go through the hassle of it all. (getting these codes applied for a package is hard work, unbelievable that computer system )

Got 40% of room and was told I couldn't add tickets and dining. I will call until I get the dining and tickets. Why wouldn't they want more money

Called today and spoke to one of the best CM ever. A fellow New Englander. She said there was no problem adding dining and tickets, as well as, keeping my discounted rooms. I wanted to let Disney management know how wonderful this cast member was, but that department was closed. Does anyone know who to call or e-mail when you want to inform disney of a CM who went above and beyond her duty?
