It is good at Gapbaby/kids, but yes, you do need the coupon from the email, or the coupon received in the mail. I got one in the mail with and it has special sales for gap card holders, as well as the 45% off your entire purchase good for this weekend (fri-sun). It has a bar code on it that the cashier is to scan at check out, so unfortunatley I don't have a code to share. It's for instore only.

I used my coupon yesterday, and after checking out she gave me a booklet for "wednesday's". 4 or 5 coupons good for 40%-45% off (45% with gap card) one item for certain wed in Dec. I believe they were giving those out to everyone, but it may have been a gapcard perk as well, not totally sure.

Wow, it seems like GAP has been doing this a lot lately! They had a sale like this just a month or two ago, and just finished the Give and Get sale from last weekend. Has it always been like this and I haven't been paying attention, or is it an effect of the bad economy?

I don't ever remember the sales being as good and as often as they have been lately either. Definately don't ever remember the 40-45% off coupons like we have been getting. I used to think it was a huge deal to get a coupon in the mail, now lately I feel like I shouldn't buy anything until I get another coupon because they have been so frequent. I've heard they aren't doing good, so my guess is the bad economy. Good deals for us though! For those that missed it, just wait. They've been having the 40-45% off sales quite often, in fact I think they just had one like 2 weeks ago. If you can, sign up for their emails. Most of the 45% off sales have been a one day in-store only deal that I've gotten as an email notice that day of. The coupon I got for this sale says it runs through Sunday, however mine was an actual coupon booklet I got in the mail with extra specials on top of the 45% off entire purchase for gap card holders. Scored their kids sweatshirts and fleece jammies for only $11!!!

I just happened to walk into the Gap yesterday to browse around. There were signs all over the store announcing 40% off your entire purchase. I bought items I wouldn't have purchased without the discount.
