We are going to Disney in September. My youngest daughter will be almost 4, but she's going to be RIGHT on the bubble of 40 inches. We probably won't know until we get there if she'll be able to ride Soarin' or Test Track. I think there's a decent chance she'll be tall enough, but I can't predict the future. One year when we went with my oldest daughter, she was on the 40 inch bubble too and the first time they measured her for Soarin', they said she was tall enough to ride, so we rode and got back in line to ride again and a different person measured her and told her she was too short. We're going to probably be in the exact same situation again with youngest daughter.
Anyway, we are staying on site, so I'll be booking FP+ 60 days in advance. Here's my question. If I book FP+ for all of us (including youngest daughter) to ride Soarin' and we get there and she doesn't make the height cut, how does this work? In the old system, I would just give youngest daughter's FP to my oldest daughter, and we would use the baby swap and oldest daughter and a parent could go with her. But now, under the new system, I can't "give" youngest daughter's FP to anyone else, can I? Does that mean that FP is just wasted?
