not that I'm counting.

Clear outa my site, wouldja?

We'll be at the fort Sunday late morning....

(update in another post)

Have a great time. I mean it, I not jealous at all ;)

Have a great time:banana: !!

Knock on wood, but the weather looks great!

We won't be there for 9 whole more days!;)

:hourglass waiting...

We'll be there about the same time. Who knows, we may check in at the same time.

We'll be spending the night in St. Augustine on Saturday and then driving over about 9 am. If all works well, I will have my LGMH sign ready to put in front of the tent by then.

The 12yo threw up all day MOnday, felt a little better Tuesday, much better Wednesday ----threw up this morning.

The 7 yo had the stomach flu at the end of last week (he started it). But I just had to go pick him up from school with 102 fever. And sounded streppy.

The 9 yo, who usually catches things first and worst, is going strong, but that just means she'll start yakking in the car about Tennessee or so. (we're in Ohio)

I don't care!!!!!!! sick kids and all, we're on our way!!! Load em up. move em out. They've got two days to rest and recupperate while we drive!!!! (right??? or are you calling children's services?)

I agree, drug em up, wipe down the car insides with Lysol wipes, get them away from the germs at school and they'll be fine!!!

Go to the doc, get the strep screen and get the atibiotics :-)

Leaving at 7:00AM tomorrow (Friday). :woohoo: Should arrive mid morning Saturday. Solo trip in a preferred loop (no special loop or site requests), Coleman pop-up and a LGMH. Kungaloosh and Welsh Dragons may be involved. :rolleyes1 Staying a week - Hope to see some of you. :thumbsup2

Yikes! But that is my kind of attitude! Go, baby, go!!!

I do hope they feel better

I say go for it. Just make sure you have some type of container in the car just in case!! Hope you have a great time!!!!

:lmao: :lmao: I can see you standing in front of the best campsite at FW tapping your foot! "Just throw it all in bag, already!" You might have to 'borrow' one of the site clearing leaf blowers to help clear your site.

I hope everyone is all better faster than you expect, have fun!

Last time we went in April my dd was sick the whole trip  we ended up in the hospital in georgia and in florida....never again....her doctor said next time we go to bring her in 3 days before and he will start her on medicine that will help keep her well...oh yea...next time shes going full of meds :thumbsup2

Well, I admit it -- I am jealous! We were supposed to leave in the morning for the Fort, checking in Saturday. A family situation is keeping us homebound, and I'm angry. It's one of those things that shouldn't have happened, shouldn't be standing in the way of our travel. Stupid decisions by one of our kids is impacting us.

But, anyway, hope you have a great trip! So wish I could be there too.

Well, it wasn't strep so he tested for mono:scared1: It wasn't that either, so just generic tonsilitis. He got antibiotics, and I have a spare prescription to take just in case one of the others is next. My doc rocks. Of course, after 12 years, we trust each others' judgement.

DH went to WalMart and bought 3 small trash cans for the van, and put in some extra old floor mats we had laying around. :lmao: :lmao:

We're in a pop-up too. It'll be the one with kids standing on the edge of the site puking into the swamp.

Actually, it usually is...the kid that's healthy this time has asthma that is somewhat stress induced, so any given week long trip she phlegms up and her little system decides to purge. She climbs out of the bunk and out the door quick as a flash, does her thing comes back and says, "I'm ok - just phlegm" and goes back to sleep. Hows that for TMI????:rotfl:

I think I'd be PO'd too. Do you have plans of rescheduling? I think Fort Wilderness Reg. 410-5b states that any kids responsible for the postponement of their parents' trip to the Fort have to pay the entire rescheduled trip.

I'd agree with that one. :thumbsup2

My 2 yo has a fever but no other sym and we're going to FW today. I hope she feels better today.

I hope your kids feel better and you have a safe trip. Hope to see you there.

I like that idea!
