My husb, me and 10 yr old daughter are going for the first time and it's also our 20th anniversary! 
We are staying in a Contemporary Wing Room. We'd like to upgrade to the tower, but we've been told that the lagoon view rooms are all full and with the price increase in Jan, it's almost $800 more anyway. Over $1100 to upgrade to a MK view! Aaa! So I guess we'll stay in the Wing. Any suggestions on getting a nice room in the Wing without a 10 mile hike to the tower? We asked for a room closest to the tower without a parking lot view. What do you think? Also, do you think there's a chance to upgrade when we get there? We're flying from the NW so we don't check in until probably 7:30pm! Will all the *good* rooms be gone by then? Any suggestions will be appreciated!!! Thanks! The DIS boards are the BEST!!!
