40% Code and Free Dining

Ok, I booked the 40% off e-mail for Poly in Oct. The CM I talked to told me to watch out for free dining also. (We booked with the dining plan anyway). She said that the usually do it for the whole month of Oct.

Am I missing something, b/c I thought you couldn't do both discounts together, and I thought free dining was only through Sept usually. Any thoughts?

It has extended into October but no you cannot get both.

if you call cro 50 times you will get 50 dif answers....and that is a shame...no, most of the time you cant get both discounts..but hey you never know what could happen these days...

No, you can use both at the same time. I have never own them to offer free dinning in October. Only late August and all of September.

You cannot use free dining and any other discount.

As a matter of fact, Disney's booking computers only allow you enter one discount code.. So you cannot stack discounts.

You can have one or the other.

Just another FYI:
This past year 2007 it ( free dine) was just from just last week of Aug, Sept. and only part a little of Oct. NOT all of Oct. at all.

I didn't thin kit was in Oct. at all either. I hope it is this year. I may be able to get DH to consider it then. He's usually busy in Sept.

Food and Wine Festival is in October along with some other events which usually drives up occupancy at the resorts. All discount offers are used to fill the resorts during non-peak times. I doubt they'd have free dining this year in Oct. since it hasn't been done in the past, but we'll just have to wait and see what comes out. This year's BB promo was from Aug 30-Sept. 27, so as was mentioned above if you started your ressie on Sept. 27 you could receive free dining for part of October.---Kathy

I thought it was a little funny...I have never known them to offer free dining well into October, and never on top of another discount, but this is what the cast member said....I guess it depends on who you talk to...I'm just happy to get as much off as we did. We booked the dining plan anyway, but I am thinking of dropping it as I think we may be better off just paying cash. We'll see how good the Tax Refund is this year.

I think it depends on where and what you eat. I loved the dining plan because we were prepaid as well. If we didn't have it, I think my DH would've been doing alot of griping.
