i hate to bump up an incredibly depressing topic, but i was at WDW when this happened and went to Epcot the day afterwards and saw one of the Orange County Sheriff's office police/squad cars and a couple of officers under the monorail entrance/exit ramp. it's so awful, and my prayers go out to the family and the little boy who lost his life. made me very thankful during my vacation that i was blessed enough not to have anything so tragic happen to me or my parents.
all i know for sure is it was horrendously hot out there the day that happened and the day before. i was at MGM and then MK and literally almost passed out during the Backlot Tour, again in the Commissary, and yet again on Main Street the next day after the 3pm parade. my heart was pounding so badly at MGM, i thought i was going to have a heart attack and had to put my head between my knees to keep from passing out. the temperatures get bad here in VA, but not that bad. and i highly doubt they get that bad in PA. after my 2nd full day in it, i got used to it, but the first 2 days were terrible. maybe the heat combined with him possibly getting scared on the ride caused something to happen? i don't know, but i do know my heart breaks for that family.
