We are headed to the world 4th of July week, to accompany my DH who is attending a conference. We are mostly sticking to the water parks and hotel pool, but I did buy 1 day after 4 pm conference tickets for the kids (ages 9 and 5) and myself. We have FP+s for Splash, BTMRR and 7DMT at 5, 6, and 7 pm respectively. We hope to stay till the park closes at midnight. Saving Fantasyland for the late night, probably during the first parade (9 pm). Any tour strategies? I know it will be extremely busy when we get there. Thinking of starting off with Hall of Presidents (my kids have never seen it!), Philharmagic, Tiki Birds, Country Bears or Carousel of Progress. When could we expect to see reasonable waits at Buzz or Haunted Mansion? Will we have any hope of getting a 4th FP at 7:30 pm? This is our only park day so we want to make the most of it.

We have gone this time of year many times and the popular rides stay busy almost up until closing. The wait for HM is never too bad but Fantasyland will have long lines throughout the night. Going during the parade will help some. Be patient, lower expectations and you can enjoy it. Maybe you will get lucky and they will extend the hours beyond 12pm.
