4 people in SPH rooms?

There are 6 SPH rooms, correct?

Can any of them hold 4 people? What about the connecting rooms? Are these both quads?

Thanks cruisedis05, so does that mean they will only allow quads to book into these rooms. We have a family of 4 and my sister is a family of 3, we are looking to book the adjoining rooms for 2007. Will she be out of luck?

No, it does not mean that only a family of 4 can book these rooms. You can request these rooms when you make your ressie. Generally, they will allow it. You should be aware that these rooms fill fast.

We did have an issue once when it was just DD and myself--she wanted to be sure to have a room with a bunkbed. DCL didn't want to block a 4 person room for just 2 people. However, by the time our cruise date came around, we had been "moved" to a 4 person room. I think this just represented a grumpy reservations person initially.

We have never had a problem (other than the above) with requesting a specific room in whatever category we were booking.

One thing to be aware of- not all the SPRs have the steamer trunk in them in case you need that for clothing.

SPRs are Secret Porthole Rooms-- so named by folks on the boards. They are sold as Category 10 rooms but actually have a porthole with an obstructed view.

We have a SPH (secret porthole room) for the Aug. repo cruise and there's only 2 of us.

If you want a sph room book early. My TA faxed Disney 2years inadvance. Disney then held it and as soon as the date opened they went down the list and luckily we got it.

We have 2 connecting SPH rooms (5022 & 5024) for the Oct 23 Wonder and there are only 2 in each room. These were reserved 15 1/2 months in advance.
