4 Parks, 1 Day

We aren't trying to hit anything specific.. besides all 4 parks..for now. Still hashing out the plan as to what we are wanting to accomplish. And now that someone has mentioned needing t-shirts .... Me and my best friend(also a group member on the trip) I am sure we can come up with a shirt idea for the group. Last year we made everyone 2 sets of matching shirts. This year we are planning 3 sets, but might have to add this day in there. We made the shirts for our flight to MCO and it just got us all hyped up and it is super fun...

So for those who have done 4parks in a day do you snack around all day, hit a different QS in each park, or something else?

Soooooo on the bucket list
There's a post on here somewhere that inspired me to set some rules when I try it on my next trip (not for years - sob)
This family set themselves a challenge of 2 rides, a meet n greet, one Disney food item, one pin trade and one iconic picture
My other crazy idea was adding in 2 slides at a water park and going for 5 parks
Just go for it and put up lots of pictures
:-)

We are pretty hard set in the lineup for our parks. HS (morning EMH) we have 5 things we want to do there including lunch at sci-fi, then BUS over to AK no later then 3 to ride any 2 rides (AK is closing at 5 that day)... Next up is BUS to EPCOT once again anything goes catch 2 rides and maybe a drink from F&WF. Finally Monorail to MK 2 rides and have dinner either here or at EPCOT.

As far as our FP selections we are still contemplating that but right now it looks like maybe TSMM and GMR at HS, then when we get into other parks look and see what we could get or just wing it. Possibly get the last bit of FP via the app for MK at night.

I have a couple of questions. If HS has EMH on your day...........why would you stay until 3 (or even consider that being there at 3 is a possibility)? Your allowing for 6 hours in 1 park......or so it seems to me. Second, you don't get to AK until 3pm or so.................you're holding dinner until the MK? After you do AK and Epcot. I guess the F&W will give snack opportunities.

Lastly, there aren't really question more like statements................. if you go with HS for FP , I don't believe you can do TSMM and GMR because they're in the same tier. Also you'll need to do your 3rd FP in HS...........you can't just do 2 FP and then take the 3rd at a different park............as far as I know today. Can't you do EMH and do TSMM and GMR without FP's and use them later in the day at another park.

Am I wrong?

Yes I know they are in the same tier. I have alot of time (6 Hours) planned at DHS because this is our only day for DHS (we have been mulitple times, don't care for star wars all that much) but we still want to see Voyage of the little mermaid, Beauty and the beast, and Indiana Jones stunt show. Ride TSMM and GMR go through the Walt museum and eat at Sci-fi. So with the way the shows are lined up and have their own set of hours it works out to us being there til about 3. If we happen not to get everything done we have PH so we can still go back during our trip to catch a show or ride, we just aren't dedicating another day there. And with dinner that isn't hard set on being at a specific park. We want to eat at AK, EPCOT, or MK that's to be decided. At this point we just gotta finish at DHS and get to AK to do 2 rides..(dinosaur, triceratop spin) before closing (5pm) and we have another full-ish day for AK. I say full-ish because they still close at 5pm the day we have allotted for AK.

With the new way of doing FP+ through the app on your phone, you can now get your next FP for a different park. So say instead or using your first initial 3 at HS you only use 1. After the time has passed / its been used, you have the opportunity to pick 1 more FP from any park. So if you use 2 at one park after those have been used you can then make a FP at another park. Or lastly use all 3 at one park and get your 4th at another, via MDE.

And we aren't wanting to go with headliners all that much..more towards whatever is close to walk on.

I haven't read through everything but a Dis'er gave me a great hint. Rope Drop the first park with no FP+ and FP+ the second park. On June 18th, we are going to EPCOT first at Rope Drop the day after Soarin' reopens. We have a before park opening ADR at GG that we may or may not make it to. Plan to single rider line TT. Then off to DHS, we plan to walk over. FP+ for ToT, TMM, and Star Tours, lunch at Sci Fi. After the last FP+ hope to make one for MK, which is our last park. After DHS, taxi to AK to single rider line Everest, may try to do Safari too. Then bus to MK. Hoping and praying the hours at MK are extended to Midnight or after. Right now it closes at 10pm. Wish us Luck!

I would say that if this is your only day at HS...........make that your day (my opinion) don't even try to do 4 parks........because 4 parks with 3 left to do after 3pm is gonna be really difficult.......but thats me! :) By focusing the day on HS and not having the pressure of wanting to do 3 other parks you can relax and take the day as it comes. Our 4 park day is planned solely as a 4 park adventure...........we're not focusing on any one park exclusively. Our plan is to split time evenly between all 4, as best we can. But to each his own :D

I'm not seeing anything in Mesaboy's FP FAQ, about how you say FP would work if you only pre-schedule 2...............and when they're done you can do the 3rd in another park. However if that's true............I don't see a big advantage..........because you'll be doing that on THAT day..........so all the good FP's will probably be gone when you go to schedule the 3rd.........but maybe not...........but its a crap shoot. But as I've said to each his own :D

No matter how it works out........hope you have a great vacation.

@kdisser ~ did you see recent reports that if you only have 1 FP booked in Park #1, you can use the app to book 2 FPs for Park #2 after you complete your first FP?

That may help you accomplish your one day hopping goals.

Thank You!! I knew I had seen this around but couldn't pin it down!!!! I knew I wasn't dreaming this up :surfweb:

We have 4 parks planned in August. Starting out with 7:40 ADR at Ohana, then MK, monorail to Epcot, walk or water tAxi to HS, and now that I know there are park to park buses, finishing up with fast passes at AK. It's our only time at AK and we want to do the headliners at night.

We don't have a set plan on what we want to do yet, as far as requirements. I have an 8 year old, 11 year old and grandma traveling with me.
