Hi

I am sure there are a few people out there who can help me?

Looking to purchase the 4 park Flex ticket for our hols in July. Will it be cheaper to purchase it here before we go, or are the prices comparable in Orlando?

Thanks

I think you'd be better buying before you go - it'll certainly be cheaper than the gate price (unless the exchange rate goes through the roof).

I would shop around for the best deal. Ticketmania have started charging for postage so unless you get a real good rate I think the UK sites will work out cheaper.

I reckon attractionticketsdirect have built a good reputation but are no longer the cheapest. I got mine from www.transolarholidays.co.uk and got good service.

Tartangirl have you got that web address right as I can't seem to follow it? Bummer about Ticketmania as we got our WDW tickets last year (paid for by overtime!!) & even with free postage received them in a week!

Just one thing that may be of interest.

If you buy in the US, Annual Passes are $179 and work out cheaper than the 4 park flex ticket, which are $202.
You also get a host of benefits including free parking, $9 a time, and discounts at shops and restaurants etc

Furthermore if you (like us) go each year, to renew it is just $99.

Obviously you do not get Sea World and WetnWild included though.

It is just a thought, a different option perhaps. The Flex tickets are good value for money also.

Johnny,

Where in the US do you get the passes?

Also do they work on a calender year or a year from first use?

The way our holidays work out next year I was going to look into getting annual passes as it'll cover 2007 and 2008 (bit of planning ahead here) so long as they last a year from first use.

At the gate at either Universal Studios or IOA, you then have your photo taken inside Guest Services.
They then supply you with your AP cards, with your photo on.

The year starts from the day you purchase them from, so a calendar year yes.
You can also contact Universal and pay monthly, however, in doing so your renewal is at the full price of $179 rather than the discounted $99.
They also auto-renew your passes, unless you advise them otherwise.

If like us you buy at the gate you can renew for the following year either 30 days before or 30 days after the expiry (ie a year after you originally bought them).
