My anniversary is the day after Thanksgiving in 2005, (yes this year it is actually ON Thanksgiving). My DH & DD keep debating changing our trip from 4 day land/ 3 day sea, to the 4 day sea/ 3 day land. If there was anytime I would reschedule for thanksgiving would be the perfect time. Is there anything special done? Is there a Christmas feeling on the Friday after Thanksgiving? Any info would be great.

In 2001 we sailed the Sunday before Thanksgiving. The whole ship was decorated for Christmas. While we were on board they built a gingerbread house(I can't remeber which deck). When it was done there was a sign on it that said it was the biggest gingerbread house at sea.

Congratulations! We were married the Sat. after Thanksgiving in 1998. Our anniversary this year is on the Sunday after T'giving. We are doing the 4 day leaving on 11/28. This is our first cruise, ever.

Just wanted to say congrats!

Thank you. We were married in 1998 too!!! It was the day before Thanksgiving. Can you imagine, we ate Thanksgiving lunch before going off on our honeymoon.

Thank you Garfield for the info on the cruise. I am such a Christmas time lover, I think it will be magical to be on a cruise if there is the feeling of the holidays. I've put in a call to a few TA's to see how much it will be. I think I may just change it.
