Hi, We flew out of Toronto on Sat Mar 8, 2hrs late due to the snowstorm, happy to get out there was alot of delays and cancellations. Landed at MCO walked across the airport to the Hyatt. It is a very nice Hotel with an added bonus that they ask you at checkin if you are going on the Disney cruise and that they will take care of your luggage in the AM. Also Disney reps will meet you in hotel lobby in the AM and escort you to the buses. We checked in and took the kids for a swim. At 9am will put the bags outside our room with the Disney tags on and headed to the lobby were we met the Disney reps and about 20 other Disney cruisers. At 930 the Reps lead us to the buses. There was a lot of them. One note we were the last to board our bus so we were split up on the bus I sat with son, wife and daughter sat in different seats not together. Not a big deal but something to look out for if you all want to be together. Checkin at the port was quick we were in the 5th group to board. I did all the online checkin papers. I picked up our pager for the kids club, grabbed a coffee and muffin at the cafe and waited for turn to board. Boarding started at noon we were on the ship by 1215. They annouce your family name as they greet you. We headed to deck nine by the pool got some food at Plutos galley then took the kids for swim, the pools were empty! At 2pm we headed for our cabin 6570 we met our room steward who gave us a tour and told she would make the beds up when we were at dinner. Our bags came at 3pm. We then took at tour of the kids club and fitness centre/spa area. My 12 yr was dissappointed to find out she could not use the treadmills. Next we went to the lifeboat drill. And wife and daughter went up top for the sail away, son and I watched from the balcony which was fun. Soon we headed for dinner at Calypso Cay for 6pm early seating. Met our servers had a great meal. At 8 pm I took my son back to the pool for a swim, Look Dad its now a wave pool! There was now some rocking! We did not get sick however. My DD went to the kids club and my wife went exploring. We turned in around 10 pm We did have a late night ice cream before that. It was a fun day!
End of part one

We are in the same room for our next cruise. Do you have any pictures? Also where was your muster station?

Joe

We're sailing next week, so I'm anxious to read about your trip! LOL about the "wave pool." ay yi yi!

I'd love to see any pictures you may have if you care to share them.

I will check for pictures, our muster station was K deck 4 I think. I also did a stateroom review. The room is handy to most areas. You can do me a favor and look for my DD white nitendo DS which she thinks was folded up in the ceiling bed! Disney lost and found was checking for it but I think it is gone. She did not notice it was missing untill we got to our hotel in Orlando. Thanks

When reading previous post Disney is pretty good about finding and returning lost items of passengers. I will pray that your daughter gets it back:thumbsup2

Thanks for the muster info. We have booked both 6568 and 6570 for my girls graduation from middle school and high school.

I have been looking for your stateroom review. Did you get a chance to post it:confused3

Most reviews are very old.

:lmao: That's funny about the wave pool comment!!! The ship must have been really rocking.....

I will repost the stateroom report, I must have messed up the first time! I think you will like the cabin.

You did not really notice the ship rocking unless you were in the pools and you noticed a wave coming at you!
