4 night Wish or 7 night Fantasy?

Here's how I solved that problem, I'm doing all three BtB starting next week. Three days at WDW then the Wish and finish it off with the Fantasy.

I JUST changed the wish to a double castaway cay LONGER cruise for less money.

We did a cruise and the parks this past May - we actually did a 4 day, parks, then three day (actually the last cruise of the Dream from Port Canaveral) - and we all , even kids, wish we had more cruise and less parks.

IMO the answer is vacationer type dependent. We just returned from a 3D Wishes (Loved It!) cruise sandwich which became a 7 day vacation; BL-Wishes-Swan. For us it was a bit long as my ideal vacation is 4 or 5 nights, which can be expensive with airfare but I'd rather go away every couple of months than twice annually.

If you like long breaks from your own bed then do the 7D, especially if the Fantasy is still an undiscovered gem for you.

Hey,

I originally planned on taking the 4 night Wish on November '23, I noticed that there's a 7 night Fantasy for maybe about $600 extra (2 people) would you say it's worth it? Or should I stick with the wish

Okay. (Deep breath) Are you a frequent Disney cruiser? If so, I recommend doing the Wish once. Maybe wait to see if prices go down? Personally, having done the Wish my once, I’d go for 7 days every time, regardless of the (Disney) ship. However I routinely cruise with family members who prefer shorter cruises. lLiving 45 minutes from a port & not having to fly definitely plays into our choices.

Do the Fantasy. We've done all 5 ships and the Wish is my least favorite. Give the Wish some time to work out some of the challenges. & nights beats 3 or 4 totally. And the Fantasy beats the Wish IMHO.

Good decision. Just avoid aft staterooms on the Fantasy as she can have vibration issues.

Great point, but I'd still take a 7 day cruise on the Fantasy with vibration over many, many things in this world.

So true. We asked to be moved on one our early Fantasy cruises because it was so bad that we couldn't fall asleep. We had a great oversize stateroom so instead of moving us they gave us an additional nearby mid-ship inside stateroom just for sleeping. It worked out fine. Now I make sure we are not assigned an aft stateroom.
