4-night dining questions

I've only done DCL for 7-night cruising, so I'm not sure what all they have for the 4-night dinners. I'd guess that it is the 3 restaurant menus, but what is the 4th night? Is it the pirate menu or the semi-formal (aka lobster & chocolate lava cake) or what?

Also, is there a formal night?

When we cruised on the 4-night back in January. We had the PTTA rotation, so we repeated the same restaurants back to back. Pirate night was the same day that we were in CC, which was also the same night that we would have done Triton's for the 2nd time. There was a special pirate themed menu in the restaurants that night. Hope I didn't confuse you on this too much.

As far as the question about formal night on the 4-night cruise, you will probably get a lot of different answers to this. When we cruised, yes, the navigator did state that one of the nights was themed "dress-up" night. This was by no means a formal night, but the Navigator stated that the suggested attire was semi formal. Again, this came straight from my Navigator.

I hope this helps for you. If you have any other questions, please ask away!

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know if they serve lobster one of the nights?

I don't remember any lobster on our trip last March. If they did we DEFINITELY would have ordered it.

I have heard that the only lobster on the 3 and 4 night cruise is in Palo. If I'm mistaken then I'm sure somebody here will correct me.

We leave in one month on the 4 day so I would LOVE to see that lobster is on the menu one night! :teeth:

No lobster on the 4 night, except for soup I believe, not even in Palos. On the third night you will have the Pirate's themed menu, and the second night is semi-formal or dress up night.

Do people dress up for the dress up night?
Do we need to bring jackets and ties or just ties? How about for the women?

Ties, no jacket needed, everyone was dressed like they were going out to a nicer place but not really formal. Many still were in khaki's/capris and polos.
