I was on Barbs' website looking at the excursions and noticed that there was a stop in freeport on Tuesday, I believe. Does the ship always stop in freeport?
I have a two year old daughter and I noticed the prices started at age 3, does this mean she is free or does it mean she can not do any of the excursions?
Has anyone done the three hour fishing trip is it worth $110.00 for my son and husband to go on. My son will be 6
Which excursions does everyone recommend, I was thinking that we would pick one at each stop to do?
Should I rent snorkeling equipment or buy it in Chicago(where I live)
What kind of snorkeling equipment should I buy? and where?
When you are doing excursions do you want to get back on a boat some of the travel times seem long and after spending the whole night on a boat do you really want to get back on another boat?
Are there excursions not listed on the navigators that aren't ran by disney? are those cheaper?
Sould we book excursions now or wait to get to the islands?
o.k I think that is it for now!

Hi Kristen,

I can help you with the Freeport stop. Only some 4 day crusies have the Freeport stop, the others have a day at sea. Our cruise in December will be the 4 day with the day at sea. You can check the itineray for your cruise to see if it has the Freeport stop.

We rented one set of snorkel equipment for my dh & myself to share at Castaway. Our boys were too young to snorkel so one of us stayed with them on the beach while the other snorkeled.. The castaway staff were great about switching the flippers to the larger size for my dh. I have seen the mask, flippers and breathing tube at Costco. We may purchase that this year now that our boys are older. The yellow lifesaving vests are available for use at Castaway.

I'm sure someone has more info on the excursions. We were with Grandparents and spent only a small about of time off the ship at the ports. Lots to see and do onboard!

Have a great trip!!

The 3 & 4-day cruises no longer stop @ Freeport. They only do the day at sea. They stopped this the end of December 2003.

(I did verify that with DCL the other day, too, when I was making additional cruise reservations.)
