I need a little help with planning our next trip with our 4 kids. This trip will only be my husband and myself but we'll have (2) six year olds, (1) four year old, and (1) 2 year old. The oldest three are all tall enough to ride everything but the 48 inch rides, so I'm wondering which rides a single adult will be able to take them on. This is the first time our two year old will be coming with us and he has some developmental issues so he'll only be able to ride the types of rides that an infant would be able to ride. I'm aware of the rider swap program, but my question is about how many kids a single adult can bring on a ride with them? I know that none of the kids can ride by themselves since they aren't 7, but will they be allowed in a different car. I know TSM will be an issue, because it's been an issue in the past with everyone being able to actually play when we've gone as a family of 5. I'm hoping that's only b/c the seats are backwards and that a ride like thunder mountain would work, but I just don't know if they would let 2 of the kids ride in the seat in front of my husband since they aren't old enough to ride alone. Can anyone give me any advice/details in this area so I can plan accordingly? Thanks

I think on most of the coaster type rides seats they limit it to three. I'm thinking about BTMR and Splash. EE might be two only. On things like Star Tours or Soaring you are in a row so that should be ok. TT has three in a row but I'm not sure if they would let one of the 6 year old's sit in the second row behind you. We have seen a mix of this rule being enforced. We had a child that told us she was 6 riding alone through the single rider line on TT in the same trip they would not let my 5 year old ride in the front of Triceratops Spin with DH in the back. Things like Buzz lightyear we have seen kids that appeared to be under 7 in front of parents but you never know when a CM will say no to that one. Remember that even an infant can ride anything without a 40 inch rule so unless your little ones special needs trump that, there is a ton that you can all go on together and ride three and three on most things. Have you ever used a sling/carrier for your little one? Sometimes that gives infants more support on rides like TSM or Buzz. Good luck and have a great trip!!
