Hello, I am going to be at WDW from Nov. 13-16 on my honeymoon. This is my first time at WDW and I wanted to know what we should do and what we could pass on since we only have 4 days. We are staying at the AKL. Our vacation included a park hopper so I have tickets for the 4 parks. I've been told I need two days to see the MK and two days for Epcot; but I want to see the Animal Kingdom. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.
Also, what is there to do at night? Thanks!!!

MK closes at 8:00 each day you are there. I would do something like this:

13th MK (see Wishes) closes at 8:00 pm
14th MGM (see Fantasmic) closes at 8:00 pm
15th Epcot (see Illuminations) Future World closes at 7:00 pm/WS at 9:00 pm
16th AK/MK (extra magic hours- MK open until 11:00 pm)

We like ending our trip at MK and seeing Wishes.

Have a great time and congratulations on your marriage!!

My 7 points to remember for first timers:
1. the mountains - Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain & Space Mountain
2. the night time spectaculars - Wishes Fireworks, Illuminations & Fantasmic
3. the thrillers - Rock n' Roller coaster, Tower of Terror, Mission Space
4. the movies - Mickey's Philharmagic & It's tough to be a bug
5. the fantasy - Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribean
6. the shows - Beauty and the Beast, Festival of the Lion King
7. the nations - touring the world showcase.

There are more of course, but if you can do these you'll experience the magic of disney. I didn't put in the parades, but they would be item 8 if I had done that long of a list.

Have fun on your first trip. And remember to take your time and soak in the MAGIC.

I would'nt miss Fantasmic, Spectro Magic, or Illuminations! Just think, you are starting your life together, and can go back to Disney every year for your anniversary!!!! But realistically, Fantasmic is not to be missed, it's in MGM...you have a park hopper so no problem...it's at night so visit the other parks during the day(AK closes earlier than all the others), andthen go to MGM and Fantasmic at night! They have a dinner package that gives you preferred seating if you're interested. AK can be done by two adults in half a day (if you get there when it opens), Epcot takes at least a day (two parks in one), MGM depends on if you like thriller rides or not as to how long it will take. I left out MK, because it's my favorite, and I could spend every day there just going on the rides again, watching the character interaction with the guests, and just the whole atmosphere of MAGIC!

Good luck to you and your future husband!

HAVE A MAGICAL, WONDERFUL HONEYMOON, AND BETTER YET A LIFE-LONG , WONDERFUL MARRIAGE!

Enjoy your honeymoon - maybe there won't be too much time for the parks....

;)

If you are early morning people consider arriving at a park before opening time, staying there until late morning then going back to the hotel for a swim and nap :cloud9:

After nap time then go to the 2nd park for the day from late afternoon until closing time

This will allow you a wide range of park experience over 4 days

If you like water parks, the Disney water parks are quite nice and fun as well

Enjoy!
