I'm very happy to say that my family will be on this cruise! It will be me, my husband and our 12 year old son. My mother-in-law is possibly joining us too! We can't wait, as it's our first cruise!

So it looks like its just us! My son is a bit nervous about not knowing anyone. Is your 11 year old a boy or girl? By the way, I see you are from Jersey. We're from NY.

My 11 yr old is a girl. We will have a 3 & 4yr old girls a 6 1/2 yr old boy and 11 yr old girl going. Are you guys going to the park before?

My son will be 12 (and 10 months) by the time we go. We will be going to the parks before, and staying at the Poly. Are you going to the parks before or after? It would be great to meet if you are in the parks before the cruise. I'm sure the kids would like to know someone else before the cruise.

We will be going to the parks before. We are getting to WDW on Tues 8/23 and we are staying at the PO. We are doing the Mickey Backyard BBQ on Thurs.night so we wanted to get in a few days early.

Count us in too! It is going to be me, my DM and my DD. This is our first cruise, we will being going to WDW, Universial and Seaworld too!

How old is your DD? Are you going to be at Disney World before the cruise? We will be arriving at the Poly on 8/22.

DD is 17, this will be her going away to university cruise, we are also celerbrating DM's birthday. We plan to arrive one week ahead, since we are DVC members, we will stay at Old Key West and spend some time visiting the parks and shopping malls (more important for DD).

OMG - I must be losing my mind! I searched high and low for this thread the other day and couldn't find it so I started a new one. I figured it must have gotten lost or deleted or something. So now there are two 8/28/05 threads going! Unfortunatly, the other one has even less people than this one!!

cepmom - I see that you are going to the Poly too! When do you arrive there? We'll be there on the 22nd through the day of the cruise.

we'll be arriving on the 24th! I am so excited about staying at the Poly...we were originally booked at POR, but thanks to DH's crazy uncle's very generous Xmas gift, we decided to upgrade and are now booked at Poly!!

Do you have just the one DS going with you? My DD15 is looking to "meet" some other teens beforehand so she can hang out with someone on the ship.

cepmom - Yes, my DS is my only one. He also would love to meet up with someone prior to the cruise so that he will "know" someone to hang out with. He will be two months shy of his 13th birthday when we cruise. Maybe we can arrange to meet anyway at the Poly prior to the cruise so that we all "know someone"

Hi everyone! We're staying at the Polynesian as well; we may be down a day early (8/23) to see my uncle in Ormond Beach, but we'll definitely be at WDW Wednesday (8/24). Hope to see you all then!!

How funny that we're all staying at Poly before the cruise! We'll definately have to meet up there. Have any of you ever stayed at Polynesian before? My kids convinced me to stay there - I wanted Beach Club, but now I am so excited to stay at Poly. Are all of you renting cars to get to the port?
