4 day hopper deals

Hi Joannie!

And Welcome to the DIS!

No matter where you purchase your hopper passes, it will be cheaper for you to buy them BEFORE you get to Disney.

I would suggest that you take a look at prices at various ticket brokers like www.ticketmania.com , www.floridaorlandotickets.com , www.paramountinternationaltravel.com .
Also, register for the newsletter at www.mousesavers.com . Those who receive the newsletter there are sometimes offered a deal on hopper passes.
If you don't find anything cheaper, then just purchase your tickets at TDS or through CRO.

Good Luck! :)

Hi Joannie! Ditto :Welcome!

If you are AAA member or have a relative who is a member, check the local office prices or at a AAA office in your travels from state to state, like I live in Mass. on the boarder of NH. so I compare the different pass prices and buy accordingly, plus when we visit relatives in Florida, we check in with the local AAA, by phone (800 # in the back of the AAA State Travel Guide)or in person.
This includes passes of the other theme parks in the Orlando area also.
ENJOY!

"THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!!"

Our friends are AAA members and are going down to Florida, too. They were going to pick up park hoppers at AAA for all of us. Since DH and I aren't AAA members right now, would this be a big "no-no"? Would we need to show I.D. or anything at the gate if our friends aren't right there with us? Thanks for any guidance on this! :D

Nope that is not a problem at all and you don't have to show anything in the way of id or membership. You are good to go, have a wonderful time!!! :)

have you checked out the advance purchase through alamo ...

they offer both 3 and 4 day park hoppers....

Alamo, which is now the "official" rental car company of Walt Disney World, has a page on its web site offering Disney passes through (800) 560-2397-- that's "Disney Preferred Ticketing," which is an official Disney department. They sell the 3-Day Park Hopper PLUS for $169.35 adult, $135.27 child and the 4-Day Park Hopper PLUS for $219.40 adult, $175.74 child. Standard shipping to your home is free, or they will deliver to many local hotels, or you can pick up the passes at the "will call" window at any of the four theme parks. A reader reports: "We are back from Florida and rented our car from Dollar. We purchased our tickets through the Alamo number, picked them up from will call at Magic Kingdom and no-one ever asked us about having an Alamo rental. Everything went really smoothly."

the three day has "one" plus attached to it....do not know about the four daybut make the assumption it would be "one" plus .... it might be worth a call to compare prices....

it would seem this deal essentially is giving the "plus" feature free considering daily admission is about 55$ a day for single day parks with no park hopping privileges

I feel like I'm missing something. It seems cheaper to me to buy the tickets directly through the Disney site?? I'm looking at the 5 day hopper for $217, child's $172.00. The paramount site is the closest in price and it is a hopper plus - don't really think I need that "plus" though. Can anyone explain why I shouldn't just buy through Disney? We are planning on being there for 7 or possibly 8 full days and will also purchase the Halloween party tickets - I'm thinking the 5 day hopper will be enough with 2 kids under 6?

I also noticed the Floridaorlando site linked above has the lunch vouchers - are these the same deal as signing up through Connections?

Thanks!

The prices on Disney's site do not include the 6.5% sales tax, the prices including tax are: adult 231.11 and 3-9 - 183.18.
Often people do prepurchase via Disney and it is less expensive than buying at the gate. They charge 3.00 shipping and handling.

Gail Hayden,

Thanks for the info on using tickets from AAA. We'll probably be looking into the AAA prices around our area real soon. 128 days and counting....:jester:

momof2cuties,

Each AAA region appears to have differing park hopper prices. The prices might be cheaper at one AAA office, and about the same as Disney at another. It also depends on whether you're getting regular park hoppers or park hopper plus tickets. The key thing to remember when comparing prices is to make sure that the quote includes all taxes and shipping/handling fees. What looks to be a decent price sometimes isn't so great after all. Good luck!
